Fortune Cookies are American!!! The first to do it was a Chinese restaurant in LA back in the day as a marketing gimmick to get people to eat in their restaurants. It's funny how people associate them with Chinese food when they're actually an American phenomenon.

I've managed to load atomic fe instead of windows explorer aswell, theres a registry key you need to edit/create to do it. BTW you can still open other apps through the task manager incase you change your mind. Using this option is quite safe because if the file for example atomic fe is missing or been renamed it will go straight to explorer instead. Found that out by error. lol

Im still strugling seens yesterday trying to config this. I always get an error mesage when I try to load a rom.... also, when passing through the game list it goes waaay too fast, is there a way to fix that? i Jumps from game 1 to game 10

Cool tag idea, and Steve Benway is the man! That's a cool MAME project you're working on too Luke. Crazy Kong is an interesting game and is very VERY similar to Donkey Kong. Hard to play and talk at the same time huh? I always have issues doing both at the same time, and that game is actually really hard too.

Ahh..from your Chinese Zodiac ..I know how old you are now.I'm not gonna divulge it to everyone. I am Chinese and there's a dish call "ma-por dahl- fu"..its roughly made the same way as the dish you describe.Its most likely the same thing with kind of a Japanese variation in pronunciation.

Cool, I've got MALA FE on my Mame cab right now. Some people think it's too simple, but I like it because once it boots there are no fancy start up animations, just let's you get right into the games lol.

Luke you can download the full snaps, marqueess, etc. from the net. Just google around and you wil find em. No need to do it by hand.

Hey this Atomic Front End looks cool, it certainly beats looking through folders to find the games and files you want to play. I assume it's possible to control the whole thing from a controller so you could ditch the keyboard and control the whole thing from a controller.

You could also try Maximus Arcade or 3dArcade, those are really good front ends and great video can't wait to see what you do next.

My favorite frontend is Maximus Arcade. Really easy to configure and it looks great! That's the one I've got installed in my MAME cabinet.

Another great frontend is MAMEWAH, but that one is a lot harder to get it working.
