@Lakerzrock10 They're dreaming in this game, but what happens while they're dreaming does affect them on the outside. When Rei wakes up during the game, she can see the tattoos and even some of the ghosts she had seen in her dreams. The camera exorcises the ghosts, if you don't exercise them, they'll kill you.

@Lakerzrock10 Well the first one is a girl looking for her brother, the second one twin sisters get "spirited away" to a lost village where there is a ritual where one sister kills the other and the latest one is something about a lunar ceremony that went wrong. Sadly, the game is sadly only available in Japan. T-T I think what makes the games popular is that people love a good scare and in order to defeat the ghosts you have to get the fatal frame with the camera obscura.

@Robbinia2004 No,the tatoo is the guilt feel when you had lived through in an accident or something and there are other ppl dear had died in the same accident..The attachment to the dead will bound youself and let you die too.So the ritual is to make the sadness cast to the other side....other side will bring you to other side if you feel much attachment and wish to go to otherside,the ritual is to prevent people being bring to other side....Or so i think..
