This is from 1982's Sangsar

It reminds me of a movie 'Badla' from 1968 inwhich Masood Rana sang Jehre torde ne Dil barbad hon ge. A Punjabi Movie with Tufail Farooqi as Music Director and Baba Alam Siahposh as lyricist :)

To my knowledge, Master Abdullah was the MD of 'Badla'. Some sources says 'Phikki pe gaii chann daareyan di lou' is from 'Badla', I have 'Badla' with me, I havent found this song in the movie. Is it a Master Abdullah composition?

inaam, i saw the film in cinema and i think this song wasnt in there. as badla had two music directors, and listening to tune, i dont think its master saheb's. (teenon antray eik se hain, master saheb should have one different antra) its a big big and nice song but technicaly not a great tune.

Khwaja Parvez was the 2nd lyricist and Tufail Farooqi was 2nd composer for Badla of 1968. Whether removed or not from Badla but one thing is sure ...this song was originally recorded for Badla.
