  • bruce springsteen eat bigmacs and play in eurodisney

  • A truly great man in the absolute best sense of the phrase. I loved his phrase "working for my community." Wouldn't the world be a much better place if we were all doing that.?

  • Great artist and songwriter but as a person a bit boring and too wholesome

  • @MrRazorblade999

What an ignorant thing to say. First of all, his storytelling and songwriting skills prove just how incredibly interesting he is, with a voice that resonates across generations. I'm half the man's age and yet love his songs as much as someone who's been listening since the early days.

In essence you're saying that we shouldn't take him as seriously as, say, Mick Jagger or Charlie Sheen because they let themselves go and ruin lives around them?

  • @upthebikez Err...No, absolutely not. I meant exactly what I wrote, nothing else.

  • @MrRazorblade999 That's hilarious!!! He's only a guy who's been in the public spotlight for 37 years and still manages to be boring and wholesome. Not quite sure what to make of that.

  • @coyotesong Yes, that's pretty impressive. I guess the fact he has been the greatest songwriter and live artist the last 37 years has nothing to do with it...

  • @douchebag1942: Real nice comeback. How junior high school of you!

  • like a boss

  • Well, the interviewer was either being kind or perhaps wasn't aware of Bruce's two alleged sex scandals -- the 9/11 widow and the married gal from his Jersey gym that he supposedly had an affair with -- as those questions noticeably weren't asked. But if those are his worst alleged career offenses, as a Boss fan for over 30 years, I can live with them. Things you'll likely never hear Bruce's name associated with are DUI, drug offenses, or forgetting the words to the Star Spangled Banner !!

  • @Sharky165 Yeah, and you apparently are unaware that both of those were false. Allegations are cheap. The political Right is delighted to make-up anything they think will demean Bruce Springsteen.

My Gawd, & the hypocrisy of O'Reiley, Gingrich, et al - all the "family value," Republicans. Gingrich is on his third marriage. He's now married to the woman he was cheating with when he critized Clinton. His wife at the time was the one he was cheating with when his first wife had cancer. Facts.

  • @CPSJSMSUUMUGA: The right doesn't have to demean Bruce. He does a perfectly good job of making a fool out of himself when he talks politics. Bruce is a political simpleton. And he's a coward as well. He makes inflamatory statements from his stage surrounded by sycophants, but he wouldn't dare get caught defending them to an opponent. You mention O'Reilly, Beck, and Gingrich? They would slaughter Bruce in a political debate. Wouldn't even be close. Springsteen is a chump.

  • @tomthefunky Noan Chomsky will appear with anyone with a Hate Radio or TV show - O'Reiley, Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck - anyone. All refuse to have him on. Why do you suppose that is?

Springsteen a singer/songwriter. That doesn't mean he has given up the right to express himself any more than you or I. At his concerts he spends about 60 seconds pushing the local foodbank. They'd rip him apart, no doubt with their anti-foodback arguments.

He has one advantage on bigger issues. He's right.

  • @CPSJSMSUUMUGA: O'Reilly and Hannity debate liberals every day. As much as I dislike O'Reilly, he's a pretty fearless guy. I don't think he's afraid of Chomsky at all. He probably doesn't have that crackpot on because he values his ratings.

And don't give me that shit about Bruce having the right to express himself. Of course he has the fucking right. Sixty seconds pushing the local foodbank? Then what was that lecture he gave me in Shea Stadium about police brutality? 60 seconds my ass.

  • @Sharky165 shut the f up

  • That why He Is The BOSS!!!!!!

  • I vilket program var det, What show was it in??

  • 1.34 the picture, is that realy Bruce?

  • And another thing...A Gentleman who F**king loves his job, his life, his wife, his friends, and his FANS. All 48,000,132 million of them and would meet every one if he had the time.

  • Springsteen/Weinberg 2012

  • One of the few who has handled enormous fame w/ true grace....never forgot where he came from.....and always seemed to stay focused on the music..Great Role Model for up & coming Rockers

  • Bruce is so down to earth...so RARE for a man of his FAME. I commend him!!

  • @janieusa i also love the fact that he doesn't let the fame get over his head and that he seems like a nice guy.

  • WTF are you talking about ? If Springsteen is the lowest form of life on the planet goddamn I just hope i can be down there with him .

Wait ... Let me guess you like fox news huh ? Ya douche

  • @braindeadhick I think @17Hongo was talking about the reporter, not Bruce.

It's a loaded question really - "why don't you do more scandals... so we can roast your ass for them?" You can tell that Bruce is not comfortable answering it too.

  • Dude, leave the man alone. How can you justify doggin'on the Boss like that?

  • @BRUCEIsMyHERO1 yeah the boss is great

  • @BRUCEIsMyHERO1 the guy is a celebrity journalist; he's the lowest form of life on the journalism planet - he doesn't report real news, so he pushes stars to try to find a scandal; he's scum
