todays referees allows them, players, to do aditional steps (the 3rd), IF YOU dont abuse with them. because according the ORIGINAL basket rules, all star like navaro and so on, even in europe often makes lots of additional steps while dribbling, they often do Double dribbling by carying the ball with both leg jump, but referes allows it for all player, but with no abusing ;)
