Apple iPad Vs. The Amazon Kindle As An eBook Reader

The kindle is about 450.00 cheaper - if you're looking for an e-reader, this is it. The ipad is more of a computer, just not a quite a computer. I would rather invest my money in a computer instead of the ipad for the money- the ipad is overrated.

@mucast There are a lot of people purchasing the iPad specifically as an eBook reader. The iPad does compare to a netbook but when people as me which device they should get specifically for reading books, I tell them the Kindle. I was as unbiased as possible as I own both and love both of them.
