What he meant was, we won't see xenomorphs as they looked in the other movies, but from another DNA strain.

AVP2, although more hard edged, is such a fucking mess it's like watching a Aliens based sketch show.

Aliens was awesome too, but a totally different movie, as was Alien 3. You can never relive the same feeling you had, when first watching the original movie, anyway. You could argue that Ressurrection should never have been made, which is fair. But they did, and decided to have some fun with it. On that level, I think they did a good job.

@Robkinggozer no, you cant relive the same feeling but i think were it lets it down the most is that it doesnt even feel like it was in the same alien universe. They took Joss whedons script (about a team of mercenaries) & mutilated it just so the could have Ripley appear in a film she wasnt needed. This being tacked on made the storyline feel very disjointed. Having her say things like "fuck" when she meant "fork" was just one of the things that completly destroyed the franchise for me.
