I think the death penalty should only be used in situations where a person cannot or refuses to be rehabilitated. I think it is ridiculous the amount of money they use to keep these people warm, fed, and given better health care than good citizens. The money should go towards not only taking care of productive citizens but in making productive citizens as well. Also, it is HIGHLY unlikey that if used that way innocent people would be killed.
Oh im actually for prisoners having to have to work for themselves. However the situation is like this in California an average person on death roll w8 25 years before execution. During that time keeping him alive is something like 100 times more expensive then a regular prisoner. (i had real numbers i think regular prisoner is 11 thousand per year death roll guys 130 thousand not sure thou death roll might be more) So keeping those guys in prison for life be way less expensive.

I'm pro-choice and pro death penalty. I'm pro choice because as far as I am concerned a fetus is in no way deserving of the same rights and privileges as a woman is. Until that fetus is out and takes a breath (which comes with cutting the umbilical cord) it is not under the same protection as the mom. I am for death penalty but think in general prisons should be for rehabilitation and I think the US criminalizes people. I think a good amount of people in prison don't need to be.

I think the death penalty should only be used in situations where a person cannot or refuses to be rehabilitated. I think it is ridiculous the amount of money they use to keep these people warm, fed, and given better health care than good citizens. The money should go towards not only taking care of productive citizens but in making productive citizens as well. Also, it is HIGHLY unlikey that if used that way innocent people would be killed.

Oh im actually for prisoners having to have to work for themselves. However the situation is like this in California an average person on death roll w8 25 years before execution. During that time keeping him alive is something like 100 times more expensive then a regular prisoner. (i had real numbers i think regular prisoner is 11 thousand per year death roll guys 130 thousand not sure thou death roll might be more) So keeping those guys in prison for life be way less expensive.

The fetus may not have any consciensous thought, but it's still alive, the cells that make it up are alive and thus, it has life. Abortions are a last resort to those who either cannot, or are unable to give birth without damaging themselves and so, rather than be cut open and having the baby removed from them and raising it in a horrible environment, it is killed, though sad, it's an inevitable fact, people like abortions in some way, shape and form
