It was the theme from the 1967 "Special Bardot," a TV special headlined by French sex symbol Brigitte Bardot; that show also aired in the U.S. on Dec. 3, 1968 on NBC right after Elvis Presley's "comeback" special, and while her numbers didn't rival his, she still walloped the competition (which, given that the main competition was Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black speaking about the Bill of Rights on CBS, was sort of like Muhammad Ali fighting against tenth-rate palookas in the mid-1970's).
