That would have meant M1-Global, the company Fedor is part owner of, would take half the profits on top of his fight money. Do I need to mention that M1 is in competition with the UFC and that companies normally do not hand over money to the opposition.
This also would have meant Fedor would have been able to hold both belts at once. UFC has exclusive fighters only.

You guys got big mouths and talk loud without ever accomplishing stuff yourselves. Even lasting in a fight with the guys he beat without winning would still be something. K1 or UFC, it is the same sport everywhere and there're professional fighters and martial artists in both leagues. In both leagues people get hurt and some of them end their careers due to that.

@armatulo Oh please, Fedor stayed away from the UFC cause he didn't want to fight competition. If your the baddest, you have to fight the baddest, and Strikeforce don't have the competition the UFC does. All those years Fedor was on top, and he lost his last 3 fights and he was dropped like a bad date. Fedor's hype>Fedors actual skills.

@SKATEOUTTACOMPTON Actually it was all about money. Fedor wanted the Lesnar title fight to be a UFC and M1-Global co-promotion. That would have meant M1-Global, the company Fedor is part owner of, would take half the profits on top of his fight money. Do I need to mention that M1 is in competition with the UFC and that companies normally do not hand over money to the opposition.
This also would have meant Fedor would have been able to hold both belts at once. UFC has exclusive fighters only.

Fedor doesn't want to sign with UFC for two reasons:
1) He'd be up against the best fighters in the world. Fedor is one of the best but his 'legend' would get exposed if he were to sign with Dana White.
2) His Russian mob connections wouldn't benefit off of White like they would from lesser promotions.
