i hate to say it but it's a better singer than brian johnson but to be totally honest i only know i loved the songs of acdc before today... and to be whole heartedly totally honest it's not singers you want for rock at the end of the day, you want rockers.

I've honestly just gained a lot of respect for Dave. I thought that he used the fact that he was AC/DC's lead singer still almost like hes still trying to gain popularity by it. The fact that he did a tribute concert in honor of Bon truely shows that he has no hate of Bon for replacing him.

Yes, this entire album is GREAT !! Dave was asked to perform with Australian AC/DC tribute band "Thunderstruck" on the 20th anniversary of Bon's death. Dave picked songs that he felt meant the most to Bon and this was Dave's tribute to him. Dave and Bon had a very mutual respect for each other and this very emotional night was captured forever on CD. It's awesome !!

It is the epitomy of ignorance to compare Dave Evans voice to Bob Scott. Two human beings with utterly different vocal cords! Dave Evan is a right good decent chap. It seems the Young brothers lack some couth when they discuss him..rather childish and immature of them.

dave wasnt to bad but he just made acdc sound like a lot of rock n roll bands that were already around, if u get me, they just sounded like normal but bon gave em ,, that 'flair'

Dave Evans does a good job here, despite this being Bon Scott's song.

I've seen a lot of negative comments about Dave over the years but he's a decent rock singer and he doesn't seem to bear any malice towards his former band mates. In fact, I've never heard him bad-mouth either Bon or AC DC.

bon scott use to drivev the van for them and wanted to play drums but they her him sing and made him ther singer till he died

then they bon scott and just have been switchin drummers and bassists ever since

Hi Kenora101, Dave is not their manager. He has his own singing career. Bon actually never drove a van for them nor was he a roadie for them either as has been falsely reported. He was just a friend of the band and hung out with them when Dave was the singer while they played in Adelaide as that was where Bon was living at the time.

and bon scott did drive the van for them because he was a friend for the band

he just wanted to help out in anyway he could then he ended up joining the band and they made dave their manager and he also created his own band at the same time

I'm not sorry, but Bon's version of this song still remains the best... the tonality and sincerity of his voice is what makes Bon's version truly the greatest. Don't get me wrong, Dave does a good job here, but it just can't compare to Bon Scott.

You seldom see the kind of brotherhood between band-mates that Dave had for AC-DC even after he left. You have to admire him for his professionalism, very rare in the music industry. Great Tribute Concert - RIP Bon, you're missed very much...

david eans should've never left. ride has always been my favorite ac/dc song and tnt was a great song can i sit next to you girl was alright a rocking in the parlour was good. david evans was better at writing songs hen bon scott i think thats awesome he wrote highway to hell and when bon scott died they should've got david evans to be the singer not brian johnson

Thanks so much about the wonderful comments about Dave and he sure is a great singer/songwriter but Bon did write TNT and Highway To Hell with the band and Dave respects Bon's great contribution to Rock History.
