Ok best way to beat him is: A) wait for his projectile then Teleport, B) jump over him with a punch, c) upper-cut him (b+c combo), d) leave a electric fire ball for when he gets up, e) keep reapting it .. It will take time but when u find ur rhythm it gets easier

Step 2: Use teleport when he throws a projectile at u

Step 3: Use a juggling combo and finish it off with the HEEEEEZUGUGA (flying thing)

Step 4:Throw projectiles at him to provoke him to throw a projectile at u.

I just beat him on medium,but it took me over a 100 attempts.I found teleport then uppercut-teleport then uppercut worked best for me.However you must get the timing right and be within distance to uppercut him,if not in distance teleport again,and only use your X-ray move when his health is low enough to win the round.

Ok lol i'm fighting him now and i found the BEST technique to beat this bastard and its SOOOOOOOOO simple all you have to do is get super close to him and time his attacks pretty good and just uppercut him even his move thats supposed to block arial attacks doesnt help him because your already behind him before he can hit you... I hope that this helps someone beat him lol i haven't beaten him yet with this tatic but in the next couple of minutes i will :) :) good luck

Bullshit... If this was on Expert difficulty, Shao Kahn would have that yellow shield where he wouldn't even be knocked back, so you wouldn't be able to uppercut him and knock him back, majority of the time. you'd hurt him, as in his health meter would drop a little bit, but he's still moving forward, throwing haymakers, thrust kicking, ramming a shoulder, or throwing hammers in your face... Not to mention that epic leap that he does to start his devastating X-ray that takes 60% of your health.

This teleport+uppercut method worked well for me on medium difficulty. Don't just teleport mindlessly though. Keep your distance, wait until he's about to attack and then teleport. Ideally he'll still be locked in the attack animation. He was a lot harder with Liu Kang I think.

This guy is pretty hard on normal, can't imagine what it will be like on Hard... any way the best way to take him is to make him throw stuff at you. If you keep your distance and throw some thunderbolts at him he'll start throwing things at you then just teleport and uppercut him or if you wanna be risky Raiden's kick combo 3,3,4 is good cuz it knocks him down. Just be careful about the spears his recovery on that move is insane so he will likely hit you if you counter too late.

Well after 100 times ive decided to mix a couple moves up...1) u cud either keep teleporting when he's either goinng to throw something or whenever. but be sure to move next to him by pressing either one of the combos (A,A,B) OR (X,Y,X,Y) and trust me after atleast 30 trys ull get the hang of the controls and ull always be getting him past half health.

Cheap solution for a cheap boss: worked the first time I tried it. Make sure you have more health than SK and then just avoid his attacks until the timer runs out. Using Raidens flying move in the air repeatedly works pretty well. Was stuck on this fight for 2 hours this morning and this was the only way I could win.

All I do is keep jumping backwards and wait until he taunts, which he does every time, and then attack him with one of the characters special moves like a fireball or flying kick. The key for me is to keep your distance and wait for the taunt.

Shao Kahn does have weaknesses. He's predictable and he can't harm you at a distance once you get good at dodging the spear and hammer. MK bosses have always been overpowered and cheap. I personally would not recommend the technique used in this video, but it worked for the uploader. He made a lot of mistakes and was still able to beat him. If you think this is hard, wait till you get to the 300th tower challenge. You have to beat Goro, Kintaro, Mileena and Shao Kahn in one lifebar.

one strategy that worked for my friend was after teleporting he would use Raiden's toward + X (PS3) which was a kick that sent Shao Khan across the screen, getting damage done while sending him to a safe distance where he can't just straight up beat your ass.

i put this bitch on beginner and still couldnt beat da bitch maybe if he stop throwin those damn hammers i could beat him n i made da world record i got killed by him 20 times in a row n made another by getting killed 500 times witout winning once.SMH

If he's throwing hammers it's not on beginner difficulty. On beginner he doesn't throw hammers and taunts very frequently when you're at opposite ends of the screen. You could probably beat him by simply staying as far away as possible and spamming Raiden's projectile, using an x ray attack when your meter fills up. Shao Khan is VERY predictable. I just stayed away and gave him the old teleport/uppercut whenever he threw something. I beat him in maybe 10 tries on normal difficulty.

@Napz19nine1 you actually are playing it on easy , shao kahn doesnt taunt that much on normal, and on hard...well most people will never get i death on him, he rushes 3 times on normal, 2 on easy and taunts alot and on hard he blocks over half the teleportations you do so you have to telly twice for one hit...fag tryin to lie like you good...lame
