  • No matter how many times I see this scene, I always expect them to hug each other!

  • Jemima Rooper is amazing in this film.

  • I thought he was going to kiss her or something xD But aww. JJ is so cute in this! <3

  • @DuchessAliana I thought that as well - bit disapppointed that they didn't!

  • Aww! Teenaged awkwardness. So cute!

  • @FantasmaLuna Actually, the book says that Bobbie is 12

  • I've now watched both films fairly thoroughly, and I've come to realise that they both have bits cut out of them, but the bits that aren't in one are in the other so they more or less cancel each other out in this respect.

I still think I prefer this one though - I like the style much better. Horsted Keynes is a much bigger station than Oakworth. Also, they look a lot poorer in this one as they're always wearing the same clothes - and the clothes are a lot more basic, as is the house.

  • I've now read the book again and I have in fact noticed one or two more parts where this film is closer to the book than the original, so that would appear to shade it.

  • I thought they were going to hug each other at the end!

  • Gotta love that Million dollar smile!!!

  • Is there sheet music for this?

  • The original music for this adaptation has been written by composer Simon Lacey. No idea if there's sheet music available but you can get in contact with Simon via his website simonlaceymusic[dot]co[dot]uk

  • I love this music

  • is she the one for lost in austen?

    x

  • Yes, that's Jemima Rooper.

  • @JJFeildChannel I just found out that the one who played Phyllis (Clare Thomas) also appeard in There's A Viking In My Bed, a children's TV series about a Viking who somehow eneded up in the present day and started staying with a family who ran a guest house.

  • @Inkyminkyzizwoz Clare Thomas has played in a lot of things, my favourite role was Ingrid Dracula in another children's TV series called Young Dracula. I do worship Clare Thomas to be honest!

  • @BillieVSAvril I suppose she is quite pretty.

  • JJ and Jemima are so young! And so adorable!

I have a feeling I will love this movie when I finally get around to seeing it.

  • I've just bought the DVD from Amazon. It only cost me £3.48 including P+P - a saving of 86%! Well worth it!

I think this is even better than the original - for starters, most of these scenes aren't in it.

  • Admittedly, this film doesn't have the bit where they find out that the Old Gentleman is Jim's grandfather, but never mind!

  • @FelicityKing Yeah - I always feel they're going to hug each other at the end!

  • why don't you upload the whole movie

  • In general we won't upload whole movies cos this actually is the JJ Feild Channel and we only provide scenes where JJ's in.
