@11gothgirl there are lots of great stores to buy them at including Oozak.com, Icopic.com, Stamps Alive--just google those names as I cannot add links here or it won't post lOL
@suzannejdean do you have a date for 2012 Honolulu? I live on Big Island, but never know if I would get there! Thank you for your videos, I learn SO much!!!
I enjoyed your video. The image you used, was it a stamp or a digital print out and if it is a digital print out. How do you keep the ink from smearing?
@niema74 Hi--it is a rubber stamp from La La Land Crafts. When using printers for digi images, always print in DRAFT mode. You have to see if your ink is compatible with Copics so you must test it, if it does smear try heat setting it or letting it sit for 24 hours. If you have a laser printer than you never need to worry, toner ink will NOT ever smear with copics.
Love this new video Suzanne!! I've watched all 4 of them and even though I'm in your Copic Coloring Classes, I've learned a lot from these videos too!! I find it amazing your change in coloring the skin tones! VERY COOL!!
Thanks a million for making some new videos... I watch the older videos over and over to learn how to use my new Copic markers. You explain everything so clearly.
It is also nice of use to tell us what stamped images you are using, too. It was thrilling to turn on my subscription list and see NEW videos from Suzanne, the Queen of Copic Coloring! I have learned so much from you, PJ
My video camera is set above me--I put it on a tripod over my work area so it tapes me upside down but I turn the screen around so I can see how it's taping. Then in my video editing software I can flip it around so its right side up. HTH!
Awesome video suzanne. I myself have been afraid of the flicking technique as well but, you make it look so easy! I'm going to definitely give this a try. Everything looks so much smoother blended. Thanks so much!!
NOTE: to liway - Most Copic users tend to use Memento Ink in Black Tuxedo!! It's well known and works fabulous. The one INK to stay away from is Staz-on because it's a solvent ink and will ruin your markers.
Thanks so much for showing that flicking. I've been alittle scard of my copies...for that reason....not blending properly. and not recapping the pens sounds great too. Thanks again. Wendy
