Did you not read the video title? Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, GA. A new tower was built and the old one was demolished to make way for a new international terminal.

That is exactly as they intended. They would have had an empty space ready for it to fall into. The tower seems to have 4 legs they blew the base off the leg nearest the fall area the leg can be seen falling about 60 feet, that caused the tower platform to fall off and the building collapsed into the fall area. Job done.

in a proper controlled demolition, the building must fall stragith down vertically into its won footrprint. but apparetnly, it looks like some of the explosives failed, so it toppled over. its a lucky coincidence that the wtc demolitions went properly, becuz can u imagine one of the twin towers falling over onto its side like that, wow, that would be scary.

I guess most of these WTC comments are from people without experience in blasting, construction and other things you must know for this job. and nobody want to bring down a tall concrete or steel building in his footprint if there is enough empty space around.
