I can think of a few better off the top of my head. like oneil talking about major shrinkage in cold water. teal talking about their best job in the world. jackson getting shot by oneil, or all of oneils "bad examples" in the window of opportunity episode.
@samysasy419 yu mean 20 of the deadulus class ships?there is already the odyssy, apollo, deadulus, sun ztu, george hammond. what else could u ask for?at least they built 5 good ships.
@angelofwaranddeath They have 5 shps! Only 5 ships, don't you see what's wrong with that? On the last episode of Atlantis, they barely survived it, that was partly because they didn't have enough ships. The Galaxy is big, and their ships were spread out accross to galaxies, if the wraith had two huge zpm powered mothersip, they would have won. They need more ships if they ever expect to defend Earth from all those threats out there.
I will miss this show, I've watched 6 re-runs now and my wife is getting pissed off so for me it's the end and no 7th repeat or it's the divorce courts.
@armagheddonsgw2 dwn the bottom where it says "Stargate SG1 Episode "Exodus" Sam is blowing up a star." note where it says BLOWING UP A STAR !! plus its like the next scene anyways wudnt ov hurt to show that little bit more dnt u think?
when i saw the title and the description, i thought that the conversation was when Carter said: You just blow up a star and people start to think you can do anything
If I remember correctly these are two seperate rooms they are in. Sam's Father isnt next to her. It s due to the fact that this scene is taken out of context. If you watch it on dvd you'll get the whole picture. But I could be wrong..
O'Neill is just THE GUY. the show can't exist without him. why else would every single SG show and movie so far had him in it?including SGU, where T'ealc didn't appear and Daniel was just in a recording, and the original movie where both T'ealc and Sam didn't appear. except for Ark of Truth, Jack's the icon of Stargate.
I quite enjoyed seasons 9-10. Especially for the addition of Vala. But I also thought the O'ri storyline was good and the show could have kept going as far as I'm concerned.
No way thats the best. The best is the one where Jack and Tealc(i cant remember how to spell it sorry) are reliving the same momemnt over and over again
I gotta say, both O'Neill and Sam was good, you can't really do a show with one and not the other, they're a team, that's why I didn't really like seasons 8 and afterward for SG-1.
I think the best convos: McKay: "I always wanted to be a pianist..." Sam: "EXCUSE ME?!" ---------- Inhabitant: "Is he Jaffa?" O'Neill: "No, but he plays one on TV." ---------- Hammond: "Colonel, what are you doing outta uniform?" O'Neill: "Handing you my resignation." Sam: "Resigning?! What for?!" O'Neill: "So I can doooo............. this." *kiss* ---------- Teal'c: "Daniel Jackson's preliminary electroencephalogram proved anomalous." O'Neill: "I DARE you to say that again." ;-p
@tonodagreat Actually english is not that hard. German, french or spanish are lot harder. The hardest part of english is that it's so different in other countrys like Australia, England, Scotland, etc. Expressions can mean different things in each country. Of course it's hard to learn the idioms in every language. And we don't learn the everydays-english in school. We learn a kinda literary dialect, like Brennen speaks in Bones.
@danielyeshe actually, it is in fact "THEY say that" (no "I" involved). i see where it sounds like "i", but i didn't think it was right so i checked the script and it's definitely "they". feel free to check out the script @ imsdb.com/transcripts/Stargate-SG1-Exodus.html
@danielyeshe well I don't mean to contredict you or anything but I actually hear "Well, they say the first time is always the hardest ... they say that." But I don't know, maybe it's me
@davidlovelisa I've just listened again, this time with the speaker by my ear, and now I'm not sure. I have the dvds but even subtitles won't help. As you may know O'Neill sometimes says 'do'h' like Homer Simpson and sometimes the subtitles put it as 'Down' So who knows!
When I saw the title of this vid, I was wondering which convo that could be. When I clicked on it and saw Sam and Jack at the consoles, I knew instantly. I LOVE this little scene!! Every time I see it I crack up. Thanks!
@Me14986 But even O'Neill by himself wasn't the best. It was always, to me, the interplay between Jack and Daniel that made the show. And to a lesser extent, between Jack and Sam, Jack and Teal'c and Jack and Hammond. He was the glue of the characters' interactions.
