  • if you would actually watch&understand the video, you'd probably stop writing such comments..;-)

  • btw saying to your family I got to leave and find meaning, good excuse!, I gotsta try that

  • so did da Budd smoke some mad herb?

  • Buddhism has changed my life:) My love it:)

  • JUSTIN BIERBER

  • @marianxtreme Someone who uses profanity and types all in caps has a lot of nerve calling other people 'stupid'. Come back when you learn spelling, grammar and punctuation.

  • Comment removed

  • @marianxtreme Well, if Buddhism is totally wrong, the I don't wanna be right. ,Ciao

  • Forget SETI, Buddha emitted brain waves throughout the universe. We just don't understand the power of the mind.

  • that why im i belive in buddish not only in my family 100 and even thousand of yrs we must find peace for we find god. we must love all man kind

  • will you all just shut up so the people who are actually interested or Buddhist can watch this without seeing retarded comments about skin color? Respect people's religions, don't go on these videos just to talk crap.

  • Everytime I get stressed out I watch this video on the buddha, and all my worries go away. Thank you for uploading this great video.

  • i never think of getting old and ready to die cos i don't want to , the idea just makes me stressed ..

  • if he only knew Christ

  • @MrTrueKristen Buddha came before christ.

So REALLY you should be saying "If only Christ knew Buddha."

  • @gopherdude Christ did know Buddha... remember Christ is God in the flesh so God knows everything and since Christ is God in the flesh, Christ knows everything. Christ knew Muhammad, Buddha and all those other guys but just like in moses' days when he threw down his rod and it became a snake and the other guys threw down theirs, but Moses's ate the other guys, Christ is like Moses's snake he is superior to all those other guys. If you dont believe it does not change the fact.

  • @MrTrueKristen

I'm not going to argue about the False christ god.

If you want to keep thinking that god went through an arbitrary plan to get rid of the original sin that the christian god itself was responcible or at the very least punishing adam and Eve's children for all eternity for something their parents did.

    Then be my guest.

It won't bring you any closure or inner peace.

  • @gopherdude well the search for false gods is part of the symptoms that man faces because of our "Parents" sin... you stated that God punished all of adam and eve's children for all eternity for something their parents did.. well can i say that the God that did this also provided a way out of this punishement... and the Gate is called Jesus Christ

  • @MrTrueKristen You don't get it- what you're admitting is that he's the problem and the solution. The Christ god punishing Humanity for something he knew we would do because he created us in his image and then the only way out of this punishment is to come to terms with our tormenter and admit what horrible creatures we are for something we can't possible help because he made us like that.

It's nothing but Religious Stockholm Syndrome.

  • @MrTrueKristen so says YOUR religion. i suggest you try reading Nietzsche so you can better understand your own thought.

  • @MrTrueKristen So I guess salvation is only available to a North American audience. If you're born in India, Pakistan, or any other non-christian country, you're outta luck! Gonna burn for eternity!!!!!!!!! how's that for a loving god?

  • @dddddssssssddd No you do not understand! I actually know a few indian christians and there are many Paki, Indian and asian Christians. Christianity is not only for North America!!! whoaaaa no one said it is only an american practice! Jesus loves you- not just america! "you" is broad and specific at the same time. Jesus is the way truth and the life. which means he is the only way and he is the way for anyone and everyone

  • @MrTrueKristen so jesus new of Muhammad before he was born? Cool! JESUS IS A PRE-COG!

  • Wonder if that monk knew what Siddhartha was about to become even though Siddhartha had not yet realized it?

  • watch this without carying what color buddha was, or what nationality he was.JUST foresee his wisdom

  • i think the dude playing the buddha looks a lot like the guy who plays superman on smallville.. what do you think?

  • bbc wants to insult buddha

  • @jhwimalarathne

How does BBC want to insult Buddha?

  • Think twice prior to where you human put your faith in, give freedom to your self to make your own thinking nor of any other human thinking, but know of your own true heart and ask yourself this question:

If there is God, where would God be? If there is God can we find Him? If we call upon Him, God that created us, with all our heart and all our soul, will God reveal the truth to us? The answer is within your own spiritual freedom. Do not let man despise you to believe their philosophy.

  • @Samody408 what ?

  • @loosifer

Buddha isn't black. He's a north indian prince. North indians have skin as fair as chinese

  • @pengheng No North Indians don't have skin as fair as the Chinese but they have nice tanned skin which looks quite exotic. Buddhists are great people anyways.

  • Buddha was Indian or Nepalese.

  • @adi87tya Buddha was from Nepal.

  • who said buddha was black?

  • the guy who speaks 3:10 min and 4 :32min ,7: 50min just ignore him he is delivering blunder...he is misleading...

  • the guy who speaks 3:10 min and 4 :32 just ignore him he is delivering blunder...

  • Sigh, so much argument over skin colour and terminologies! Where is da love?!!!

  • OK, now Im not being facious but he gives up everything and cuts his hair, right? OK, he went and got a afro wig? Whats witth his hair? Thats a brothers hair do. I dont see anyone from india or in this video with hair like that. This is why i always thought buddha to be a brother because of all the statues, yet they depict this dude with the look of the impossible. Can someone explain this. this looks ridiclous! What indian has that hair? he is starving and its still whipped or wig, why?

  • @caddy1010

dreadlocks were originally indian...so i imagine its very much the same with him

  • @Yawwwn1990 I would love to get a serious and educated response....Thanks anyway.

  • @caddy1010 Sorry i just thought id be brief as any other explanation wouldve been patronizing...afterall suggesting Buddha to be black makes you seem abit of a Retard.

Its not a wig...are you so stupid as to think that afros are solely a black thing?....Mitch Mitchell?...Matt Stone?.

Seeing as dreadlocks are so popular amoungst indian holymen a hairstyle as the one seen on here is probably more common than you think.

as for the statues they're not to reliable ..they were made centuries after

  • @Yawwwn1990 Like I said before an educated response not an insulting one. Have a GREAT DAY!!!

  • @caddy1010 haha you too...i just dont think sombody who thinks the ancient egyptians were black is really in a position to 'type' down to other people?

you have some serious hang ups dont you my friend?...trying to claim evreybody from the Buddha to the Egyptians were black....sounds like your trying to compensate for somthing...have some pride in being black

  • @Yawwwn1990 Where is anyone else with a afro wig in this series? Why the afro wig?

  • @Yawwwn1990 he did not have dreadlocks he had curly long hair look at the video before it.

  • @MrIndoCanadian I never said he had dreadlocks i said people of that era...or indian holy men in general have dreadlocks....i said that in response to sombody asking if indian people can have afros?...as in Yeaaah perhaps its plausiblee so No i never suggested he had dreadlocks lol

  • @Yawwwn1990 lol ;P do you like my hair ??? :P

  • @caddy1010 Refer to the 80 auspicious marks of a carkravartin including the right faced curls of the hair... the staties you see are exhaggerations of this concept. :)

  • @lileichmann That makes no sense at all!

  • Comment removed

  • @lileichmann Why the only one with a afro wig?

  • @caddy1010 I told you already it is an exhaggeration of one of the 80 auspicious symbols of a cakravartin this being the (right facing curls). If you are truly interested and not simply trying to make mockery and be foolish, than I suggest looking up Buddhism on wikipedia. The other men don't have it because they are not "cakravartin". Again, it is an EXHAGGERATION of this concept...

  • @lileichmann Cakravartin reflects the secular aspect of Buddha. What does that have to do with his hair? Right facing curls? Cakravartin has nothing to do with hair, its a type of rulership. I think you need to look it up on Wiki. or a book because your definition is off and has nothing to do with the subject. Why is he the only one with a black mans hair way before he had any enlightenment. He cuts it , & looked that way? What "Indian" has that type of hair? Thats why the actor has a wig.

  • What do you think Subhuti? Can someone meditate on the Tathagata by means of the thirty-two marks? Subhuti said, "Yes, World-Honored One. We should use the thirty-two marks to meditate on the Tataghata." The Buddha said, "If you say that you can use the thirty-two marks to see the Tathagata, then the Cakravartin is also a Tathagata?" Subhuti said, "World-Honored One, I understand your teaching. One should not use the thirty-two marks to meditate on the Tathagata." -The Diamond Sutra

  • @caddy1010 Signs of a Great Man (mahapurisalakkhana)The relevant passage reads ‘Uddhaggani lomani jatani nilani anjanavannani kundalavattani padakkhinavattaka jatan. Word for word this means – uddhaggani = turns around or upwards, lomani = hair, nilanianjanavannani = black in color similar to collyrium, kundalavattani = curled, and padakkhinavatta = turning to the right. So according to the sutta, the Great Man’s hair was black and curled upwards and to the right. The right being auspicious...

  • @lileichmann I know a lot of black folks that fit that description.

  • You're only making things worse for your people... I've given all I can, if you still choose to remain willinigly ignorant and refuse to search the information yourself, then I pity you. Your people are infamous for desiring nothing but trouble in the guise of pleading for help, I am not one to fall for your scheme... The Buddha was from India and the Egyptians had "Nubians" as slaves, it is carved in the heiroglyphs. Your people invented peanut butter gas masks and traffic lights be proud of it

  • @lileichmann Mankind hates Man. The ORIGINAL MAN. Your like an ungrateful child and refuse to acknowledge whats before your very eyes. You speak of enlightenment yet you hate truth. I didnt mention Kemet once yet you keep bringing it up so while on the subject you say the Buddha was from India, well Kemet is in Africa yet you insinuate the ancient Kemites were not black. Mankind should be more grateful to Man, he did bring them out of the caves and taught them to walk upright. Man know thyself.

  • @caddy1010 I was only aiting to see how long it to you to lose it, like the "MAN" often seen losing it in numerous court room videos, jumping over the defense table. I brought Egypt up once... not continuously. You have failed to see that you have welcomed opposition, and backed into a corner are now lashing out ignorantly. Caves in Africa? And I think evolution has a bigger role to play, rather than simply "teaching" man to walk upright... talk about ignorant in the face of reality huh?

  • @lileichmann Your hilarious! Thats your answer, is that you were taunting me? The caves of Europe, the caucasoids to be exact, you know were you get your name, caucasion. Oh but I forgot you already know that, you were just taunting me and your pissed off because Buddha really does appear to have the hair of a black man thus making him black just as he is depicted in all of his statues. You have just been Enlightened! I hope you have reached nirvana. LOL!

  • @caddy1010 Try reading the history of the Buddha, not only was he born into the Sakya clan of India but is was east India. He spoke Pali and was said to have golden skin. Never has there been a black ruling family in India. And my SN is not my name the the same as yours is not "Cadillac" (although is may have been in the local county jail). You do not strike me as one who is formally educated... I've tried to educate you in history and anthropology but you refuse, you are left to yourself now.

  • @lileichmann Osiris and Isis ruled India (Asar & Aset)

  • @caddy1010 ...those are deities, not historical figures.

  • @lileichmann he was born in nepal ( lumbini ) in a shakya clan which is in nepal !! shakyas are newar n possibly may have mongolian features !!

  • @sherpanepal what's your point? i think you mean to reply to the other person "caddy1010" as i don't disagree with you... it was caddy1010 who was ayiong the Buddha was black

  • only one mistake in this whole video's description is that 'stillness of mind' is said.but actually buddhahood is beyond mind----transcendence of mind!!!!!!!
