Hopefully other people have noticed that APMEX's bid and ask prices are consistently listed as being higher than what they really should be. Their premiums are outrageous and their buy back prices, even for $10K swaps are getting lower.
Buy from other bullion retailers. Everyone who buys from APMEX is asking for higher premiums. Their premiums have consistently increased EVEN when they have high stock

I've been finding the odd comment on sites and videos about keeping safe. Some are up front saying have guns. Others are saying not to buy bullion because you can't keep it safe (while mentioning nothing of guns, safes, etc.). In Canada, having guns for any 'protection' is illegal (& ignored when police do it, as with many laws). Makes me wonder, if the American collapse chain-reacts, what survival will be like.
