@NathanLee0921 no..this is a sad love song. in chinese '9' has the same pronouciation with the chinese word 'forever'. Bascially the song is about people superstitiously believe in such thing and so does he but he and his lover however doesnt have a good ending.

Hong Kong is returned to China in 1997. not China take over HK again...the song has nth related to this issue.

When I watch this clip I start to understand why he like the one he is now better than the one he was 20 years back. The lyrics is perfect for him, his sound has changed, he does not complain as much as he did, he start to understand that he could have a nice life by himself. I'm comparing him in the year 1999 to him in year 2002 and onwards, that's a huge difference in a few years gap. Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Tony Leung etc are aging gracefully but he aged terribly. and his voice, it sounds terrible. Now, his presence on stage is a shame on himself.
