Thanks for posting this... Some historic footage here : The two bikes lining up at the start of the video was the first ever motorcycle match race for cash money in Canada... Dave Connery on the purple Kawasaki funny bike VS Mike Law on the FJ - the end of the track was so badly rutted that Mike flew off the seat every time he went thru the traps... at 170 mph! On the second run when both bikes left the line Mike beat Dave to the finish.

Wish there was more of this. I have a few vids of St. Thomas in the 80's and always wishing for more. Thanks for posting
