Great performance of a terrific song! I remember them opening the show with this on their EP tour with Twisted Sister in Pittsburgh. Although I only knew the 4 songs from the EP at the time, this track & The Warning were very memorable, catchy tunes.
@funhistory i bought that same ep when in jhs when not many people knew about them.... it blew me away..i saw them at a small club in brooklyn called Lamours..( maybe with Twisted also..not sure) and they blew the doors off the place!! Tate was phenominal!!..
It's such a shame they never released this on DVD or BRD... it's one of the best, early Ryche performances ever recorded! The entire band is full on, killer... perfect! Pls put this on Blu-Ray EMI!
IMO, everything after Operation: Mindcrime has been, collectively, a stinking pile of shiite with a few good bits buried amongst the offal. But this early stuff was fucking LEGENDARY \m/ \m/
I would have to agree with you on that one, although i think "tribe" was their last decent effort,Tates solo album totaly sucked, and it seems as though Queensryche's recent material sounds like tates solo stuff. They need to take at look at "Styx"and see what happens to a band that veers too far from it's roots.
That sounds right. I don't think you even got a ticket, just paid at the window. Backing up Twisted Sister the year before with 5 songs was amazing too.
He was, but destroyed the whole band career when making a bad movement going musically in totally wrong way after the great Empire album..I think every Fan thinks the same?
Promised Land wasn't a bad cd, but everything afterwards sucked, IMHO. Mindcrime II was a total joke and Mike Stone doesn't even come close to holding DeGarmo's jock.

I love Dickinson, Halford, Kiske, all them, But this guy is better. Facts is facts. In his prime, Tate would kill them all.

NEWSFLASH: Queensryche started making shitty albums BEFORE Chris DeGarmo left the band.
There are a few hidden gems on those discs though.

Hear in the Now Frontier but the rest of their albums including American soldier are awsome.
TNA499 2 years ago
Flaggius, that's YOUR opinion. Everything after Promised Land is total crap IMHO, ESPECIALLY American Soldier.

I know man. No big deal.

SpectorRay1, you're wrong. Hear in the Now Frontier was the only bad album Queensryche made. Q2K, Tribe and OMII were AWESOME!!!
