the mk3 is the only one called the mrs the mk1 and the mk2 are both called mr2s and the 4age is only in the mk1 the mk2 had the 5s-fe and the 3s gte only in america though

The car has several names all of which are correct. MR2, MR-S, MR2 Spyder.

But to me, an MR2 is the SW20. :)

Mazda Roadster --> Mazda MX-5

Honda Fit --> Honda Jazz

His tires started screeching well before the corner, then his recovery was good too. Maybe sequential shifter.

No doubt the MR-S lack power and the Mk2 MR2 have the turbo'd 210hp 3SGTE powerplant. But you forget one thing. IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, you can swap the 1ZZ-FE motor out of the MR-S and swap in a 2ZZ-GE and there are plenty who reach 500hp easy with just bolt on turbo kits with the 2ZZ-GE, thus the weight is only 2100lb for the Mk3 MR2 compared to its older brother Mk2 MR2 with the 3SGTE with 2500lb.
