I know exactly what you mean. I actually bought a new ps1 because of the sony + playstation intro together, I missed it so much because I always used the ps2 for my ps1 games since i was buying those, and I couldn't find my old ps1s anywhere and I had two, so I thought I MUST BUY ONE.

I love this game, it is my favorite of the tomb raiders.

I remember the year this game came out (2000 I think) that XPert Gamer magazine had a list of the top 5 hottest video game characters of the year, along with top 5 ugliest. Laura got hottest, and teen Laura got ugliest.

@CloneOhHigh It doesn't have a UPV :P ... and I'm sorry to say it, but Tomb Raider 3 is still the hardest in my opinion ... I've beaten Tomb Raider 4 several times already. It's one of the games I'm pretty good at ... at least I hope that haha :D

those animals in the first level are not pigs but "wild boars" which are more agressive than normal pigs.

is possible to play the easier version of the race for the iris even if you get all the skulls in the first level simply by collecting the last one after Von Croy choose the easy gate at the end of the level,and just press the look button to shut his mouth his hints are useless if you read the booklet before playing the game like i always do.

Oh, Von Croy, you and your inability to shush. I haven't counted how many times I told him to shut up in my LP, but I swear it was at least 20. Largely because I didn't know how to skip him at the time :p

And don't worry about the secrets in the first level ... I only got 6 out of 8 skulls everytime I played it ... I never figured out where the final two are haha xD had to check a walkthrough for that.

Yeah, well, I never got all the secrets in general. Although I am currently aiming to sort this at the moment (although already I've missed one in Burial Chambers, since it's right at the beginning and I saved right after it's possible to get it - be warned, Tina!)

I'm playing TR4 along with you Tina! This level is so boring since I have played TR 1 -3 so this introductory level is just too easy. Werner Von Croy sounds more energetic and less creepy in the German version I must say! :)

Yeah grownup Lara in TR4 does look the best because she is more smooth with less noticeable polygons. And since you are so into "boob angles" her boobs actually are very round. A far cry from the triangles in TR1! :P

I actually got goosebumps during the backpack scene! hah

@MegaPerimeter Deutsch ist ja praktisch schon meine Muttersprache ... deswegen würde es mich ehrlich gesagt langweilen LPs auf Deutsch zu machen. In dem ich Englisch spreche, erweitere ich meinen Wortschatz ... und ich weiss nicht, ob ich ein grösseres Publikum anziehe, wenn ich Deutsch spreche ... immerhin kommuniziert praktisch jeder auf Youtube auf Englisch :)
