@TheFabregas6 Hello, I used the original Manco Dingo for parts. I paid $350 for that, new 16hp Powermax engine(now DuroMax) was around $360, about $80 worth of eBay Shocks and the rest of the stuff I already had laying around. That kinda gives an idea. Hope that helps.

I have the same issue with the chain coming lose from the suspension. How did you attach 2 gears to an extended bolt? Thanks!

@QuadCoreRig Hello QuadCoreRig,

The 2 sprockets in the jackshaft where idler sprockets with a bearing in them. I welded a pipe in between them as big as the outer diameter of the bearing. So its different then a normal jackshaft with the actual shaft not spinning. Hope that helps.

Not bad kid I been a welder fabricator 20yrs + . I own a fully stocked small fab shop here in Phx with a hosfeild tubing bender for tube work ect and have built 2 small rails' one 2 seat CBR 1000 cc huricaine and a one seat 600cc Huricaine motor . @nigelbsf I made it with stuff laying around or some parts like the shocks I found on ebay. I never used a program like that. I didnt really have any blue prints/plans or anything. I just cut and welded as it came along.

Its been a while so estimate, lol. 380 for the ebay motor new shipped. $40 for the ebay honda shocks, 20 for the ebay blaster shocks, free donor quad and most all extra steel was free scraps laying around. If you can scoung around and get the tubing free that will save a lot. ebay, if your not in a hurry, be patient on what your bidding on. I was also lucky to be able to use the stock cvt clutch parts of the dingo because those are real expensive. Hope that helps and gives you an idea.

Did you just weld the entire front end of a quad to the front of the kart? I'm planning on doing something like this to my dingo but I'm gonna go for 4 wheel independent suspension with a 2 stroke 250 engine.

@emusoda yea kinda. I had to make it wider to put my feet in between. Or you could just make it longer but I wanted it short to steer sharper and smaller in general to fit in my little dodge dakota quad cab truck bed. I have another video called multiple short clips that show it better before I welded it on.

i have a comet converter.but the belt just slides on and off like it has no tension on the belt. i have know i idea whats wrong.would you know? i have just got the Kart and don't know much about it. i know the previous owner took off the old belt. could it be the pully needs tensioned? i have a video of the kart if you want to look. @1337bman Sounds like the belt is to big. If the motor mount is slotted you might be able to tighten it up. Not sure on how the set up is because it didnt show it much. Only other thing I can think of is maybe the secondary pulleys spring is broke or came of and 2 pulley faces spread apart. Make sure they are pulled together by the spring. With a good belt, the top of the belt should be flush with the top edge of the secondary pulley. The belt wont be real tight, maybe 1/2" or so of play

@1337bman go to gokart supply.com and call the number that is on the website tell them you need a belt and they will ask deminsions and they will explain you can order a belt for like 40 dollars

@1337bman The clutch on the motor is the primary or aka drive. The other pulley in the clutch system is called a secondary or driven. Is the driven pulley faces tight together in the middle near the shaft? Is there any tension holding them together? The top of a proper width belt should be at the top of the driven pulley. If it is, then the belt might be the wrong length. Respond back, I will help what I can.
