@keflar5. It's cheap beyond reason. The bad moments in this game totally wash away the good ones. It's like the old saying: 1 bucket of ice cream + 1 bucket of shit = 2 buckets of shit. 10 medals left to gold, but I don't thinkl it's worth the effort. Brutal, just brutal, and a waste of time/money.

Ya I'm having the same problem as fusionmusicman, I can't decide whether to get this, split second or both. I played the demo for both and I loved the first motorstorm but split second also offers such a brand new racing style! I can't decide!

-Buggy

-Racing Truck

-Rally Car

-Mudplugger

-Big Rig

-Monster Truck

While you can chose your model (and that model's paint job) the performance of that vehicle type doesn't change.

I love this game expecially online. I have had it for about two months and it has only disconnected once. Unfortunately though i couldn't complete the game because i didnt have enough medals to get to level5. Oh ye and my least favourite trracks are scorched and canyon because scorched is confusing and boring but the rest are great. Beautiful game.

What version of the game do you have? I noticed that the controls were different than the North American version, and your game actually calls it Motorstorm II, unlike the NA version, which just calls it Motorstorm: Pacific Rift.

I got the Asian version of the game. Yeah, apparently it's named a little differently compared to the US version (not sure about Europe though). But ultimately it's the same game, so enjoy the review... ;-)

It's really up to you but personally I'd go for Motorstorm.  One of the reasons being Motorstorm having a wider selection of vehicles to choose from...
