they were simply [and sadly] trying too hard to level up with the original. maybe it worked before, but with the evolution of films sometimes doing a remake of the relatively good flicks in the 80s and 90s is a huge risk. nothing personal, but i have to say this is a tacky attempt to glorify aiza seguerra and maricel soriano's feel-good movie.

I think Maricel can handle any roles, mapa-comedy, drama, horor etc. Unlike Marian kasi, parang based sa nakikita ko, pang-comedy lang bumabagay yung arte nya... Kaya sana wag lagi siyang ilalagay sa mga comedy na palabas para maging versatile actress naman siya.

I think this movie does not surpass the original Super Inday of Maricel Soriano. I found this corny, even the effects are obviously poor. It is better not to remake a movie or show for you can't avoid the people to compare it to the original.
