  • Now children this is called real music, listen and let it educate you.

  • This was a rocking concert. Wondering what else is available from that night? Thanks for sharing.

  • This is magic! I can't stop watching it. I have loved this album for 20 years since being introduced to it via my older brother. LOVE this sound and the whole vibe of the 70's era.

  • oh wow. remember when even pop singers were musicians?

TSOP to Eno, everybody admired these guys

  • sweet video, great sound!!!! thanks!

  • Amazing how good they were, still sounds good after 35 years. You can see that the songs where still fresh at this time and they enjoyed playing them.

  • Damn, so much funk!

  • I recently recorded the last 2/3's of this concert on VH1 Classic and I'm just blown away by how good these guys were. I was mainly familiar with their top 40 stuff but songs like "I'm just a Kid", "Laughing Boy" and "Is it a Star?" blew me away!!

I definately think Darryl Hall resembles one of the Carradine brothers. Not the Kung Fu guy or the "Nerds" guy, but the other one.

  • drummer Eddie Zyne still plays .. hes drummed with the Monkeys, 2 different versions of Foghat.. and currently hes in Dreaming in Stereo and The Livesays!!!!

  • i wish boys stil wore their pants like that.... and had long hair. sigh... the 70s...

  • I love how the big guy gets the little mandolin and the little guy gets the big guitar!

  • I remember seeing this on tv and was eagerly awaiting seeing them live in Jan.1977, they didn't disappoint... and no wonder Daryl can hit those high notes, those jeans are soooo tight...

  • Hall&Oats RULE!!

  • loved this song for nearly 30 years now.....was that laughing boy about to start?

  • anyone else see a resemblance to william dafoe?

  • Willem

  • @JFUNK128 foe years sir

  • Hall & Oates fucking rock.

  • What a lush, gorgeous version! 5 stars. :)

  • This song reminds me of the late 70s when my best friend's father died and she cried on my shoulder right through the shoulder pads of my chocolate brown velvet jacket... funny to remember such a detail isn't it?

  • Oh yeah, the weird thing is this, it was about 1976, her dad had cancer. Also, growing up, there was an abandoned luncheonette across the street from where we lived.

  • This is great,I love this song. You keep suprising us with your rarities, I enjoy them so much. Thaank you!
