Research gentlemen!! The action figure line was actually based on an unproduced animated series Operation aliens. A pilot was created, but never released and Kenner had been promised the licence. So the packaging was re-designed and the figures were released under the title Aliens. This is why both the figures and the mini-comics they came with had that child friendly look/feel to them.

USA toy versions are always horrible. Stick to Japanese and Chinese versions. More accurate and cheaper. The USA aliens look "cartoonish"

And about the price, is no different than any other vintage toy.

I remember back in around 1991, our local comic shop had a full size alien prop fastened to the ceiling. I nearly shit myself the first time I looked up and saw that snarling at me !! Great episode guys.. LOVE Aliens !!
