other way around. BHP is how much power the brakes have to stop. WHP (wheel horse power) is how much power the wheels have to transfer to the ground. Straight HP is how much power is generated by the engine...u usualy lose about 10% through the drivetrain
correct, although the % loss varies on drivetrain, fwd will usually see around 10-15% rwd is around 15-35% and awd is 25-50%, on my suby it makes 180ish to the crank but only around 100-110 to the wheels
