I agree...Simon made the right decision...little shock about Paula...but I totally understand! The host was a BUST he was terrible. Now let's get some real judges on the show and a decent host!

Paula and Nicole sabotaged the career of the artist that had the best chance of revenue generation in a contract. There was only one artist that had the uniqueness and angelic tones that would create an immediately identifiable recording voice and a teen fan base growing at an astronomical rate. Some say these fans would even stoop to death threats to defend their idol and life-inspiration. Others claim her spirit saved them from suicide. I say let Drew be a replacement judge next season.

I don't think Simon is a jerk because of this. I would love to be hired as a judge, work one year, get payed millions just to give my opinion, and then be fired. Better than not getting the job in the first place.

I am so glad Simon's fired Steve Jones. It was like watching and listening to a monotonous robot whose tone was set way too high. Can you imagine having dinner with this guy. You'd have to wear ear-buds. The entire restaurant would have to wear ear-buds.

Now, Simon, please get rid of the lighting designer. Most of the stagecraft overpowers the acts and turns it into a great big parody of "Chicago." The more intimate stars are forced to be garish. Gives nothing to the artist.

Perhaps Simon should have thought about firing himself ! Since his BS with Tia and Simone.. and then getting to bring Melaine back... most people weren't interested after this shit before the final rounds. If they put Mariah on... his ratings will drop.. even further...

bring cheryl cole back, btw the uk version of xfactor dropped 2.5 million viewers wgen cheryl left the show in 2011, so bring her back, yes she has an accent, but its ENGLISH at the end, english is my 3rd language n i can still understand her perfectly

I'm very glad Nicole and Paula got the boot! Nicole can't judge properly (as she was the reason for eliminating Rachel Crow) and Paula can't mentor properly (all of her category were gone in a matter of weeks, not even a month).

If there was someone I'd want to bring back, BRING BACK CHERYL COLE!!!

And Mariah Carey was supposed to Guest Judge during Judges Homes with Simon, so maybe she could fill the gap to make up for it - plus she's an absolute legend!

So yeah, Cheryl and Mariah please!

@2alexjulian And considering Cheryl Cole has been an X Factor Judge many times, she'll be perfect. Besides, even with the amount of time she had on last season's US one, I still preferred her over Nicole - even before the Rachel Crow incident lol.

For once a factual video! Hate people calling the show a failure! Exactly true how 12.5 million is very healthy but he expected 20... 12.5 is NOT a failure for season one of a talent show :). Nicole, Steve and Paula definitely needed to go! Mariah would be amazing!
