@Scumfuc696 The closest thing there ever was/will be to a new Samhain album was the first Son of Sam album "Songs from The Earth". Totally nailed the Samhain vibe, Danzig even plays guitar and synth on a couple songs. Don't bother with the second SOS album though.
@IndiaEight5 they did mate....rick rubin liked glenn and samhain but he felt they lacked something....so he said american would sign samhain if he got rid of damien. errie and london......but danzig said he's gotta have eerie.........then it was decided to call the band danzig no matter what the name would be associated with glenn rather than the band........thoise songs on final descent are in fact danzig......someof those samhain songs were recorded during the recording of lucifuge.......
@TheFantasticMrHell yeah they were too industrial. almost nine inch nails ish haha i kinda enjoyed them but it wasnt the danzig i wanted. 4 just wasnt exciting i guess, as 1-3. lyrically its awesome but the drums sound different and...idk i just didnt feel it.
@TheFantasticMrHell my favorite album was i luciferi haha. 4p itself didnt really impress me though, and blackacidevil didnt stoke me too much either. danzig 6 was a little better

@77tomio Well I love everything by the Misfits, Samhain, and the first 3 Danzig records. I didn't like the stuff put out after Von, Christ, and Biscuits left the band. I know 4 still had the lineup, I just wasn't feeling it. That being said, I actually just gave "Deth Red Saboth" another shot, and I have to say I'm enjoying it a lot... When I said first 3 records, I was speaking of Danzig alone. I adore all the Misfits and Samhain stuff.
