It's a good idea to put snaps on the side to hold the insert while you're lacing the dress. Also it the loops are very small put safety pins on the ends of the ribbon to make the threading easier.
was this dress once too small for the model? I like the piece it has underneath the lacing...My dress is too small in the bust area and will not allow the zipper to close....I'm trying to find a seamstress to alter my dress exactly like this. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the video. I'd like my dress tighter at the bottom of the opening and looser at the top. Is it okay to lace the corset from the bottom to the top?

I guess you could lace up from the bottom to the top. I haven't seen it done. What would you do with the rest of the lace?
