I love all movies from natalie wood but this one is my favorite because its so realistic and she is so beautiful and robert redford is so young and handsome in this movie.
This is playing on FLIX cable this month. Redford was miscast.. he is so gay in this film.. most of his scenes with females seem nervous and staged. he only looks comfortable whenhe is withmen in his films.
"She is loaded like the piston"-- man she's cool and outright drunk but very highly intelligent like she's in a court room scene and she's winning the case and it's all attractive in a very seducing way.
Jay Jay Charles Bronson is handsome but a cold unfeeling creep.
Natalie was really drunk during this scene. the director told her to drink a couple of glasses of wine before filming. He felt bad because she was so sick from the wine!!! thanks so much for posting this scene!!
A great movie ...Natalie at her best ..Nobody captured the screen like Miss Wood This is not a happy ending movie but it draws you in an never lets go.. Thanks for posting!!

man natalie really hit that lady hard. I bet her reaction too it is real. But that's Nat getting immersed in a movie role like that. that's why i love her.
Yeah and look at Charles Bronsons face as he is stunned and looks over at the guy sitting at the table as if "Was she suppose to wallop Kay that hard?"
Owen and Natalie are just starting to earn trust w/each other. "momma" finds out. She realizes her daughter is in love and knows that no more manipulating Alva. So momma sets up a phone call to cause doubt in Owens heart. It works. Owen up and confronts Alva in the privacy of her shower; which indicates to me, they are close already.
Natalie is wonderful, she has that sparkle,
a very good actress, matter uh fact many were better than nowdays.... when did the magic leave?

I've never seen an actress do a better drunk scene than this one by Natalie Wood. God, it was such a tragedy to lose her.
