  • I was there! Never saw Robert Wyatt though. Wheres the book Pete?

  • @hydfawr he;s the guy in a wheelchair with a big beard and ciggy

  • Google: "Jimi Hendrix Was Murdered? Say It Ain't So" and look at the "Writer's Forensics Blog". I made a rough attempt at explaining the medical forensic evidence from the autopsy that proves the murder under the handle "Buster". Wherever you touch Hendrix's death the evidence appears. Monika lied to cover-up the fact Jimi was murdered - not that he died by choking on his own vomit. She was about to admit the real story and ended-up dead. Also Jeffery confessed. What more do you need? Jimi was

  • found fully clothed on a bed that obviously was never slept-in. Yet the British Government accepted Monika's story that Jimi was asleep in bed. What obviously happened was because Eric Burdon had Jeffery as a manager he understood what occurred. Burdon and Jeffery's crew then cleaned-up the evidence and helped Monika with her story. Jimi was obviously dead during this time. Why do you think Burdon refuses to talk about it? Why do you think Scotland Yard lies about the real evidence to avoid it?

  • Monika wrote in her book 'Inner World Of Jimi Hendrix' that Jimi turned to her and said he thought Devon had OD'ed him. Monika said she then ignored him. Well seeing how things turned-out we can assume Jimi passed-out right after saying that (he was fully-clothed). So what person would hear Jimi Hendrix say he thought he was OD'ed and then pass-out and do nothing about it? What is obvious here is that Jimi was given super-powerful Vesparax and didn't know they were what he was detecting. He was

  • probably told they were weaker Tuinols as part of a black operation and took his usual dose to compensate for his tolerance, or was slipped a mickey. Nobody ever bothered to ask Monika how she could say Jimi was talking comfortably at 7am, as she told the Inquest, yet said he thought Devon had OD'ed him? Devon was at the last party Jimi attended so any OD from her would have occurred close to the 3am arrival at the Samarkand. Scotland Yard had no trouble with this and declined investigation.

  • Yeah t exiles talkin about buddy holly I agree Hendrix was done in there was this guy from the FBI said it as after investigating it. Nothin added up when it was looked. Plus all these people Clapton, beck townsend blah blah blah who all claim they love Jimi never ever speak up about it. I suppose nobody likes to admit they've lived a lie all there life

  • Jimi wasn't murdered. he died. plain and simple. just enjoy his music

  • @Exiles800 your an idiot bro

  • @MrBuddyHolly1 You're 19. When you grow-up you'll realize defending Jimi against those who deny his murder is important. Look at these hypocrites parading themselves and celebrating Jimi with a plaque while wickedly making efforts to deny their very own participation in the cover-up of his murder. These are the same bastards who slammed the door in Jimi's face when he came looking for justice. You know what they can do with that plaque!

  • @MrBuddyHolly1 If you say Jimi wasn't murdered you're the idiot. You're only 19 so I understand the generation you exist in and how you probably don't have the intellectual access to the information or reasoning that would show most intelligent people that Jimi was most undoubtedly murdered. Those of us who actually care about Jimi - which doesn't include that parade of hypocrites you see in this video, who don't mind the British Government refusing to review the facts, know Jimi was murdered.

  • The British are people who play the role of good-mannered fellows dedicating a plaque while ignoring the bloody travesty of covering-up the murder of the same person at the same time. Nothing but silence from the Brits, and plaques...

  • @Exiles800

Well you say the say the same about the Yanks and Lennon / MLK / Kennedy / LHO / - except they don't get a plaque and the CIA / FBI just hope the public will forget. I wouldn't point the finger at the Brits for a cover up - you should be pointing it at Mike Jeffery or Monika Danneman...

  • @zanderajs I'd be the first to agree. Even better, I'm fairly confident I've discovered evidence that Jimi was murdered by Jeffery acting for our CIA. So you can safely add Jimi on to your list above. However the way things work Jimi was murdered in British legal jurisdiction so the entryway to the evidence is through the British system, and the British system decided on no credible investigation. What I have found, however, is some of the most vicious opponents to the intelligently-shown

  • murder evidence are all Brits. Really at least 80% or more are Brits. I think they have a group-think based on a family-type nationalism under the monarchy where they don't want to admit Jimi was murdered by a British MI-5 agent and covered-up by the gov't. They even deny Jeffery was MI-5. CIA gave themselves away when they murdered Jeffery. They did that because they realized smart investigators would have figured it out and Jeffery knew too much. So far "Hendrix fans" like plaques and silence.

  • @Exiles800 The problem for me is you seem to be accepting it as a 'fact' that Jimi was murdered. The coroner gave an open verdict. Perhaps if you have new evidence to suggest Jimi's death was a murder you could report it to the British police. I love Jimi's music and I had the good fortune to see him perform in Cardiff, Wales in 1967. He had and still has a huge following here and I do not welcome you denigrating the British the way you have done. Polite enough for you?

  • @Johntheresonator Well, that sounds like a nice protest but it needs to be directed at the violators. I am not the offender here. You need to learn how gov'ts operate - especially intel. The British police have already had their turn at this and left some very damning evidence untouched. Scotland Yard was gone to back in 1992 with British subject K Etchingham's petition. Your resentment doesn't account for the fact that the majority of people who violently doubt the murder are all Brits.

  • @Exiles800 Yes but something does not become true just because someone with a conspiracy theory (and by the sound of it a dislike/mistrust of the British) says it is.

  • I beg your pardon but we have a sound case of evidence. In fact you yourself stand as a good example of what I'm talking about. You offer very weak content-less tea here and seem satisified with it. Forgive me but you serve as a good example of why this murder was allowed to go univestigated by the British Government for so long. Keep in mind your government accepts Monika's story as true and has no problem with the proven conflicts and doesn't see any need to pursue them. I'm not the offender.

  • @Exiles800 OK enough already I have read all your posts & I don't think I was in the presence of such delusion since my last discussion with a creationist. I think Jimi was a hugely creative soul who had lost his way & his creative edge towards the end, add the mixed up relationships, the hype & chaos & the drugs and you get a tragedy. But for you the CIA, MI5, even the British Monarchy seem culpable. I think I am going to leave you to lick at windows and bark at passing cars. I'm out of here!

  • @Johntheresonator I think you are the one deluding himself that he hasn't just ran away from an argument he couldn't answer. It's amazing how many people run out the door shouting that they've won with this subject. Your problem isn't with me and my arguments but is instead with your denial of them. You prove the case in spades that the Brits almost universally represent the worst opponents of this subject right in the face of the facts in pure contempt.

  • @Exiles800 So, in your logic someone denying an accusation therefore proves it must be true? I sincerely hope you are not in the legal profession. You would have got on great when they used to burn witches. I don't claim to 'win the subject' but so far you have gone on about denying facts and evidence but you have not produced anything other than the same tired old CIA, MI5 British monarchy conspiracy stuff.

  • @Johntheresonator I don't think you are aware of our forensic arguments that prove Jimi had to be unconscious when the wine was poured into his lungs. Typically, you have already dismissed this case with trolling sass before even bothering to look at the facts. Jimi was on the FBI's list of the worst threats to the US gov't known as the "Security Index". Other people who were on that list also suffered strange fates. Your ignorant contempt does not answer for the lies about that morning.

  • @Exiles800 Actually I knew of the allegations but read the article to jog my memory. The problem is that it still does not settle anything. A roadie coming forward decades later, talking about a confession by someone now dead (OK I know about the speculation Jeffries faked his death). The barbiturate issue is inconclusive. The author says "We may never know what the truth is but I surely wish people would let James Marshall Hendrix rest and simply listen to all of his wonderful music." I agree.

  • @Johntheresonator Thanks for your condescending frivolous overview posing as credible interest. The barbiturate issue is only "inconclusive" because the authorities who investigated it were in charge of the evidence and its processing. 1) Jeffery's confession fits the forensic evidence and the lies. 2) A credible investigation of the forensics would prove murder. That was conspicuously avoided by the British Inquest and subsequent petition to re-open the case. You're seeking excuses not answers

  • @Exiles800 It was not intended to be condescending & frivolous but I am not going to try and persuade you otherwise. What would be the point? The same goes for the main subject here. We are not going to change each other's position. I imagine you think I am closed-minded evidence denying idiot and I think you are a conspiracy theorising nut. Shake?

  • @Johntheresonator I'm sorry, but you can't plead honest intentions if you try to avoid provable evidence. I think it's obvious here that your intention is to reach an impasse and agree to not agree, however I feel the evidence doesn't allow you that privilege and anyone who was honestly seeking what happened to Hendrix would not allow themselves such and unjustifiable position. The evidence simply won't let you get away with that, and you'll probably see us prove that soon. Keep watching.

  • @Exiles800 OK no handshake then, fair enough. I'm not sure exactly what you want me to do as I cannot see the 'provable evidence' you refer to. I cannot fault your passion or commitment to your beliefs I just don't agree. This will be my last post on this topic. I am sure you will reply though just for the sake of having the last word. So please be my guest, go ahead and prove me right on that one.

  • @Exiles800. Of course while you are running down us Brits perhaps you might care to reflect on the fact that Jimi was a struggling, starving side man in the USA for years before (British) Chas Chandler heard him play at the Cafe Wha? and brought him over to England, where he became an immediate success and for a short while made the likes of Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck want to give up.

  • @Johntheresonator True, but Jimi was so destined he would have made a breakthrough in the 60's anywhere. In the meantime he was murdered in England and the British Government helped cover it up.

  • @Exiles800 Evidence?

  • @Johntheresonator It's in the forensics and an honest evaluation of the circumstantial evidence and lies. I believe Tappy would pass a lie detector test.

  • Thanks for this, I bloody love the idea of Handel banging on the wall asking Hendrix to turn his amp down. The BLue Plaque scheme brings history to life.

  • The blue plaque is not taken lightly and it is a very special thing to have your name on one

  • Hate to crash the party but the more I think about this the more I think dear Kathy allowed the British Government to salve it conscience and buy-off its cover-up of Jimi Hendrix's murder by a British MI-5 agent in exchange for a metal plaque costing so many pennies. The same bloody tower murderers who saw the evidence for Jimi's murder and announced they had no interest in re-investigating it were allowed to trade Jimi's head on a platter for a blue plaque. Sorry Kathy but you shouldn't have.

  • Perhaps the Tower Wall was a better choice for the Blue Plaque's location?

  • Memories. I went along on this day with my friend Danny. She and I walked up to Pete as he was walkng away from it and he was followed by hundreds of people and photographers, and I stopped him and put my hand out for the great man to shake. He shook his head and put his hands deep into his pockets. I just said 'come on Pete, its just my hand, shake it man' and he smiled and did just that. He walked on and we went the other way and let him leave. Ha. Great day out. Very special.

  • PLEASE put that other clip up......I saw the original programme and have searched in vane for it on YouTube....want ot show my kids !!!

Thanks for posting this Zanderajs...top job

    Jimi rocks !!!!!

  • Those of us Jimi fans ( and members of the mail list Hey-Joe) who were so graciously invited by Kathy Etchingham to be at the plaque ceremony ( and party after) will never forget this gesture of kindness. The whole trip and experience (!) was life changing. Having a chance to meet Noel, Kathy ( and family) Kirsten, browsing Tony Brown (RIP) memorabilia, visiting Landsdowne Cres and placing flowers near the apt. on the 17th of Sept.

You will never be forgotten by us. Fly On Voodoo Child

  • Unbelievable that ALL of the members of The Jimi Hendrix Experience are gone now. Jimi, 1970, Noel died in 2003, and Mitch last year. 'Looks like half the people at this unveiling weren't even born when Jimi died! I doubt if many of the current bands will be attracting young people DECADES after they're gone. Live on, play on....wonderful musicians.

  • Good vid! I didn't realise the plaque had such a grand reception. Shame that Mitch and Noel are no longer with us, tho.

  • I'm surprised that Mitch didn't attend really. Fantastic reception. There's a clip of Cathy and Noel touring the inside of the flat and telling their stories that I'll have to put up...
