I totally agree with this. Sure, they may be offering valuable wisdom, but there has to be a happy medium between watching out for people and squashing them down. If you don't try something you want to do, you've automatically failed. Still it helps to listen to research, learn and listen to wisdom, do successfully evaluating good help and bad help is certainly important.
