SAS, US Navy Seals, Israilis, Turkish Green Berets and Seals, Aussies, NZ Special Forces, and all others go through an extremely rough physical and mental training and they are all comparable. I really laugh when people say theirs is the best. What only your country have tough guys? The answer is no. There are plenty of Special Forces some has more experience some less but they are very special and very few can achieve it. I hope they all use their ability for good than evil.
Also, Special Forces get the best technology, Air support, Intelligence, etc. It is not like they will be left behind for days or would not be found. They go through all kinds of training in case they have to stay in a desert, water, or arctic conditions. The missions can be pretty simple, short or can turn out long (Remember Black hawk down) Basically they get trained for the unexpected.
I am a Turk and i will say this. Our Special units are damn good and comparable to SAS, US navy Seals, etc. Our Green Berets and Navy Seals go thorough the same training as the others. Besides, Being patriotic is good but being overly patriotic shadows the truth. All those soldiers are human and they can be killed by any person with a gun even the special forces. You never know where the bullet comes from.

I've been to Turkey in Oludeniz in Fethiye for a holiday. I have to say I alway's liked Turkey and it's people. And I certainly never recieved any problem's for being from the UK.

My older brother is a Royal Marine and he HAS worked in conditions as low as -30 degrees. He has also worked in Norway in Arctic Weather even colder than this, as well as tropical hot weather in the Jungle of Belize. He has been to Helmand Province in Afghanistan and killed lots of them. well, thats a very good question, the UK government was trying to kill or stop the IRA since they were formed around 1919.

In Northern Ireland theres a political party called "Sinn Fein", who basically have the same political goals as the IRA although they have been accused of supporting IRA, its never really been proven, Sinn Fein have never commited any terrorist acts although both Sinn Fein and the IRA want exactly the same thing.(cont)

I also believe you when you say that America are supplying the PKK. The IRA were also supplyed and trained by the Americans, but the Americans would never admit this. To be honest with you mate, I think the Turks and Britain have more real experience at fighting Terrorism and Counter/insurgency than anyone else in the world. In one 18 month period in Iraq the SAS killed more than 3,500 insurgents and lost six men killed or wounded. Even American an Commander admitted we were better than them.

SAS, US Navy Seals, Israilis, Turkish Green Berets and Seals, Aussies, NZ Special Forces, and all others go through an extremely rough physical and mental training and they are all comparable. I really laugh when people say theirs is the best. What only your country have tough guys? The answer is no. There are plenty of Special Forces some has more experience some less but they are very special and very few can achieve it. I hope they all use their ability for good than evil.

Also, Special Forces get the best technology, Air support, Intelligence, etc. It is not like they will be left behind for days or would not be found. They go through all kinds of training in case they have to stay in a desert, water, or arctic conditions. The missions can be pretty simple, short or can turn out long (Remember Black hawk down) Basically they get trained for the unexpected.

I am a Turk and i will say this. Our Special units are damn good and comparable to SAS, US navy Seals, etc. Our Green Berets and Navy Seals go thorough the same training as the others. Besides, Being patriotic is good but being overly patriotic shadows the truth. All those soldiers are human and they can be killed by any person with a gun even the special forces. You never know where the bullet comes from.

I lived in bulgar,a and I know what was being teached (to hate).. The winners write the history,in this case it is europe, so when I told search history I was referring to alternative history books. The truth is this: for 600 years people from different nations and religions lived equally as possible and prosperous without borders from europe to afrika.

@cikicrocus In our schools the Books of History are pretty much HUGE. On those books we learning more for our Culture, Architect, Medicine, Science ,Theater and all the things that my anchestors gave to the world. We are not teaching our wars. For example our books descibe our Greatest War (The Greco-Persian at 490-478 BC) in 3 Paragraphs (no more than 500 words for a war that decide the whole west civilization). We are not teaching Hate. We have more important things to learn, trust me

@SpnOptimus2011 .2...It is all the same in USA or Britain or any country. During WW1 armenians not only escaped from their countrys(ottoman) army but also they fought against Ottoman empire. So instead of being executed they were expelled from the Ottoman land. And on the way some of them died. Which is quite normal because normally in any country they would all be executed as criminals

Or you can just ask greeks who visited turkey. Turks dont care about being enemy with greeks at all and nobody hates greeks here . Why would we? Reason? And we dont want the islands, but when greece says want to increase territorial waters to 12 nm you are entering to turkey :).

Because your Airplanes flying to Aegean Full Armed till they reach Greek mainland by using the Gray zones that the or 9nm creating. For example yesterday 4 F-16 amd 2 RF-4 fly above 5 Greek islands! if those 12 nm were existing you werent be able to do that without entering the Greek airspace witch means , free weapons engage.

My older brother is a Royal Marine and he HAS worked in conditions as low as -30 degrees. He has also worked in Norway in Arctic Weather even colder than this, as well as tropical hot weather in the Jungle of Belize. He has been to Helmand Province in Afghanistan and killed lots of them. Remember Helmand in Afghanistan is the most Dangerous region in the whole country and UK is doing all the fighting there, not the French OR the Germans. well, thats a very good question, the UK government was trying to kill or stop the IRA since they were formed around 1919.
A major attempt was carried out to use Special Forces(SAS) in Northern Ireland throughout the 60s, 70s, 80s most of the 90s. Than in 1998, a Peace Treaty was signed by the IRA leaders, and most of the fighting has now ended. Most of the IRA funding and weapons came from America but the US government would never admit this.

Its very, very complicated to explain and even I am no expert on the subject. But as far as I am aware the Government never made any negotiations with the IRA directly.
In Northern Ireland theres a political party called "Sinn Fein", who basically have the same political goals as the IRA although they have been accused of supporting IRA, its never really been proven, Sinn Fein have never commited any terrorist acts although both Sinn Fein and the IRA want exactly the same thing.(cont)

Both of them want Northern Ireland to return to Southern Ireland and be 1 country, but the EU will never support this because "democratically" North Ireland wants to remain part of the UK. So basically the only way the IRA can achieve what they want is through politics. So in 1998 the UK prime minister signed an agreement with "Sinn Fein" that they will work and support them politically ONLY IF the IRA terrorists disband and hand over their weapon stockpiles to the Irish Government.(cont)

However this was just an "Agreement" which was called "The Good Friday Agreement". The war isnt 100% over. All it will take is one major terrorist attack by the IRA on the UK and the peace agreement between "Sinn Fein" and the "UK Government" will be broken back to where we started.

At the moment, the PKK are alot worse than the IRA. we killed most of our terrorists already. The Turkish governement still has a major problem fighting the PKK because they hide in the mountains like cowards.
If the Terrorists fight the Turkish Army head on they cant win, so they have to fight an Insurgency war, just like the IRA did in Northern Ireland.
However I thought that the Turks captured the PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, and he negotiated a cease-fire with them?

I also believe you when you say that America are supplying the PKK. The IRA were also supplyed and trained by the Americans, but the Americans would never admit this. To be honest with you mate, I think the Turks and Britain have more real experience at fighting Terrorism and Counter/insurgency than anyone else in the world. In one 18 month period in Iraq the SAS killed more than 3,500 insurgents and lost six men killed or wounded. Even American an Commander admitted we were better than them.

@Emproraptasyon Im sorry but those special competitions are very unreliable sources of data to justify a country soldiers being the best in the world. Only REAL missions can be used to justify how Elite special forces can be measured.

Also another thing if we where to speak just about special Task forces in EUROPE Maroon Berets are the Best because they are trained and been used URBAN areas and most difficult mountain trains to Fight against Terrorists. Wich the war on Terrorist is continuing.
In the other hand Maroon Berets dont have the reinforcements such a Navy seals have Air sport but we do have UP TO DATE weapons as Nay Seals.
