Oh yeah most desktops out there with the m17x's specs will probably be the same price and they would weigh double the weight of tha m17x. Unless you build a desktop urself with those components than uve made good money.

i got the blu ray rom bro. by default its a dvd rw. the battery is useless. trust me, 9 cells, and mine lasted about an hour 15minutes. this machine is meant to be plugged in. :)

i need the bd rom, for my studies. into computer graphics. well, 720 is sorta overkill, you wont see that much of a difference with 820 unless you're into heavy video encoding. :)
