You are wrong Bill. Maybe they should teach evolution in america instead of sound effects. The reason why is called punctuated equilibrium. Evolution doesn't happen smoothly across millions of years generally. It is cataclysmic and immediate, and mostly lethal.

For instance, gravity is a theory as well, because there are aspects not perfectly understood, but it theorizes about something that's there. Evolution theorizes about stuff that is there too, with aspects not perfectly understood. The theory of evolution itself will never be disproven; the theory will just change, or evolve.

@jaroschj Actually they have proved evouloution. Let me explain... okay say your a crab, and you happen to be born with a shell that better blends in to ocean floor than the rest of the crabs. Because your shell better blends in to the ocean floor you wont get eaten as much. You go and you have little crab babbies that also have that shell. Thell blend in to the ocean floor, and because they do thell survive more than the crabs withaout the shell. That is evouloution. Hope that cleared it up. :)

he ought to be. it used to be that during the right time of year, rivers across the west coast of North America were lashed into whiteness by uncountable salmon coming home to spawn and die. people were afraid to put their boats in the water for fear they'd capsize because the fish were so abundant in the water. you could hear them for miles before you'd see them, the slapping of their tails against the water. now the salmon are dying, struggling because of fish farming and dams.
