  • These documentaries are interesting, please can someone help me out by uploading 'The Simpsons - America's First Family' programme. I would love to watch the full 50 minute version again as the copy I originally had has been lost since. For some strange reason both of these documentaries are not available on DVD anywhere which is annoying. If anyone can help me out with this, I will be really grateful.

  • Matt actually looked pretty cool in his yearbook.

  • song at 1:47? please respond

  • Wow. I had the same idea, that the Hollywood types spew crap as an inside joke to underhandedly express their disgust with the general population. But apparently entertainment mediocrity is indeed a cult. Why put forth any real effort to be profound if no one in the audience is complaining? They're indeed that delusional. I don't know anyone personally who likes anything that the infotainment industry has to offer. It's there for us to collectively make fun of, and that's it.

  • Matt Groening should be the producer, director etc.. that, along with the Zappa family makes a full length feature on the life of FZ-Matt is a well known Zappa fan!

  • Does anyone know what album the Zappa track they play is from?

  • The track is from FZ's Grand Wazoo album

  • I mean the song that starts at 2:25. The bluesier one. Grand Wazoo was a jazz-fusion type thing, from what I've heard.

  • absolutely fascinating glimpse into brilliance!

  • There are only excerpts available of the music starting at 2:25. It's live from Berlin 1968 before the big riot occurred later in the show.

  • Can't wait for part 3!

  • I hope you can, I was really finding it interesting.

  • You mean the song that is playing over the B&W footage with Frank Zappa? That's just an improvisation.

  • Yeah, the music starts 2:25, I absolutely love it and even if it is an improvisation I'd love an audio copy of the full thing if anyone knows if it is possible or available.

  • can anytone pls tell us what the track playing during his peanuts highlight is?

  • anyone know what the harmonica track at 01:45 is?

  • Oh, sorry I meant to specify - the one in black and white where Frank is wearing dungarees and playing a Les Paul with P90 pickups.

  • What Zappa track is that? That's annoyed me for years since I first saw this programme. I haven't been able to track it down.

  • Yeh me too. Youll notice the tape wears at that point from me rewinding it so many times to listent to it over and over
