did you need to patch or use any kexts for the 8800 gts? if so, which one. thanks in advance.

@darkxkyo Yeah i used NVinject and its right on the cd when you go to customize the installation. But you have to make sure which 8800 you have because of the memory... 320 (mine) and 640 and 512. so make sure you pick the right kext and no worry it shows the ram amount in the name of the kext so its easier

Im having problems . IPC installer opens , but i cant get passed the continue button ... Iv had about 4 different outcomes from one DVD =/ i have the same mobo anything you can tell me about before starting?

I am in the same trouble as most of these people.  I have a distro up and running very well except for the onboard lan. I saw which kext you used but can't find it anywhere. I have an almost identical set up to your's. Any help would be great.

I have same motherboard, for onboard ethernet do I have to install the drivers cd or will it work right away, my hp wifi pci card isn't working with the hackintosh, u know any wireless adapters that work with it

Can you give me a step by step instruction on how to install this? With Kext Helper b7 it says it needs to restart but it's stuck on the spinning wheel and nothing happens.

@PS2Gameplays Hey you have to restart it yourself it wont do it for you. but give me a bit to write up the guide lol its alot of steps

@ermc0608 I installed iPC again - EVERYTHING except Ethernet works. It is a Rev 2 board, tried to install a kext with Kext Helper b7 - "Install seems fine, cross fingers and reboot" - I restart it with OS X, still doesn't want to work :(

the name of the kext for the ethernet is AtherosL1cEthernet.kext

What driver did you use for your Ethernet?

i sent it to that email and i also didnt have the alc888 codec but the one off of the dvd will work just fine and i also added the ac97codec kext because i forgot about it ealier

All you need is the azalia codec kext and the alc888 kext install them both and your good to go

Hi ermc0608. I am having trouble getting sound to work on a G31M-ES2L Rev 2 in 10.5.8. Can you zip your DSDT and the sound files you used, upload them somewhere and post the link to the package? Would be very much appreciated :)
