River Wye canoe and camping trip April 2011

Hello,

You dont need permission to canoe but you cannot just put in anywhere much of the banks are run by fishing clubs. There are a number of places along the river you can put in and take out. The camping areas are limited, I have done the trip twice and we have stayed at Lucksall Campsite, Camped at Welsh Bicknor Youth hostel, a pub on the river bank at Ross On Wye (cant remebber the name).

Its a stunning area the river and scenery are amazing.

Looks like you all had a realy good time, thanks for posting your video i realy enjoyed watching it. Did you have to pay/get permission to conoe ? Or can you just put in anywhere? Also can you camp anywhere or are there designated areas?
