Thanks for the reply but i also wanted to know how do u stop a male from biting and they still seem uncomfortable they dont make any sound. We talk to them and play with them but nothing. The boy always bites us.

How is he blue and my dad got my mom 2 indian ringknecks but they have their beaks red and black but mostly.black. Why plzz help.

@AdIcTeDGaMeR31 He's blue because he was born that way... It's in his genes. Beak color can vary, very young indian ringnecks may have black beaks which will turn red as they mature.

He just picked them up by himself. :) He was such a cutie... But passed away earlier this week by crashing into a shelf and breaking his neck. :( We're devestated...

OMG, that's terrible! I'm so sorry. I lost my alexandrine a couple of months ago when the cat (we didn't know she was in the house-she is a stray that was starving so we took her in) grabbed him while he was out. He didn't seem injured. I thought I got to him in time, but the next day my daughter found him in the bottom of his cage. He was gone.

Cat scratches are the worst. The damage is done by bacteria, not the wound (unless its rather obviously more than just a scratch). It is important to get to a vet IMMEDIATELY! I lost my little budgie this way :(
