thing is nintendo is only supposed to use their characters and i do like the idea of shadow being in a ssb game but they just put only one sonic character in and probably not anymore and i have seen vids saying to put sub zero in and hes MORTAL KOMBAT character and if anyones going to be added its probably another nintendo character

you want to know why shadow isnt in brawl (well he is but as an assist trophy), the first sonic games(sonic,sonic 2 and sonic 3) were awesome, but then evry new game had 1-3 new character (now they are 47 characters) and a totaly different gameplay, so no wsega is doing games only with sonic, and the game shadow the headgehog was the worst game of sega

Also, it got better ratings than most of the other sonic games. You are taking this way too serious. Shadow is an extra costume for Sonic in Brawl, you know. For me, I am pleased with that. And I dig Shadow really much. So technicly, you can play as him there. So whatever.
I would like Shadow in the game... however if we convince Nintendo and SEGA to put him in, it would just delay the release date again. However, we could try to ask for an expansion or sonething with additional characters and levels. Then we wouldn't have to wait for the whole game, just the expansion. I also wish they would bring in Chaos with his special being PERFECT Chaos.

No, Eggman is not Sonic's Rival, he is his enemy. There is a difference between the two. Shadow seems to be the only one capable of surpassing Sonic in speed and Eggman loses every time, so Eggman cant be his Rival. Why do you think the main chars in Rivals were Sonic, Shadow, and Silver. Even if he were a clone in basic moves, whats the big deal. It seems the same way with Fox, Wolf and Falco, Ganondorf and C. sonics moves are from original games shadow did not exsist back then so shadow could use more current moves like caos control up special or caos blast could be a standard attack or a final smash shadow is definetly a diferent charecter i hope he is in allredy and just unconfirmed
