Excellent Compilation of your Fun-moments. This is the Video I will show my peers to hook them on your Channel.
Coming from Hessen the Namesake of Hassium I always grin when Professor Poliakoff suggests to make something up because he doesn't know anything about Hassium.
DO continue your excellent and entertaining Series of Videos. Especially Sixty Symbols. There is a greater Array of Characters/Professors to explain stuff, that makes it more fun.
Thanks so much for the videos, im still chewing through them slowly (As they often lead me to research the topic further) and loving every minute of them. Its a taste of the uni degrees I never took, though I have to say you guys are genuinely good teachers, they staff at my uni butchered subjects/topics I loved to the point I stoped attending lectures and self studied showing up for labs and exams only. My graduation ceremony is in 6 days (Bachelor of science) :) -Your pupil in Australia!
Once I was in a pub in Nottingham and I said something about drinking beer from "aluminum" cans. Well, Professor Poliakoff punched me square in the face. As I lay on the ground, he kicked me repeatedly. Turns out, he prefers beer in bottles.
Where's the video of the experiment where he's lighting the tube of brown gas (Nitrogen dioxide?) and it goes blue and makes that awesome whooshing noise?
I saw him do it live when I went to visit nottingham and I can't find a video of it anywhere =(
Another name for it has been called Hydroxy gas. Production of browns gas is electrolysis of water with a small amount of lye or baking soda. If your interested in this topic type joe cell or smacks booster in You tube's search. Enjoy.

I'm sorry, did you just try and pass water off as a brown gas?
That's some badass chemistry you've got going there...
