  • I never get tired of singing to this song and no I can't sing it like John Rzeznik. Only my dog would put up with me singing.

  • love the old school goo :)

  • he is strummin the fuck outta that guitar! im gonna play like that now

  • This is my favorite GGD song lately, because I have the worse break up story ever.

  • is that dave grohl on stage in the beginning? lol

  • he just knows how to say stuff the right way

  • one of my favourite GGD songs. I love this version :]

  • Priceless! straight into my "favorites". Saw them in May and get to see them again later on this month.....I simply adore the GGD's, especially the older stuff. But, I'm happy they're making the new stuff, cuz it means they go out and tour and I get to go see them!!!! I just watched the 2004 live in Buffalo DVD twice last night and got to enjoy John and Robbie doing this song.

  • @hilltopfamily

Oh, I forgot to say how much I smiled and laughed when Johnny said "here comes the sad part" fabulous!

  • Oh the early days. "It's like a rock concert." If he only knew! I have that same guitar and it sounds exactly like that. :)

  • @ljg307 what guitar?

  • @lightningheart72639 The Yamaha acoustic.

  • @lightningheart72639 The Yamaha acoustic. Oh, I just realized my comment looks like I meant, "If he only knew I had that same guitar!" What I meant was, "If he only knew that he'd be doing LOTS of rock concerts in his future. BTW, I have that same type of guitar he's playing."

  • @ljg307 i have the same guitar too lol

  • Ha, love this song. Wish I had been older than 4 when this concert happened though...

  • Thanks for reminding me how old I am!

  • it's YAMAHA FG series ....

  • this is an awesome song

  • yhh thats excellent! x love it<3

  • wow same guitar as mine, the yamaha

  • Love the hair

  • whats his guitar say?

too fuzzy and he moves too much hahaa

  • its a guild guitar

  • hahah noo on the posted note

  • It's a Yamaha.

  • I do believe that it's a Yamaha Acoustic guitar. Not too sure on what the actual model of the Yamaha it is, but yeah.

  • no no no I KNOW the model of the guitar!

i ment down at the bottom theres a posted note or something and i cant read what it says

  • @MusicLifeOj It says "splat cats"

  • Ooh, he looks so cute and young.

  • Ah, the 90's.... I was 10 at the time... but I didn't love this song until 17... :) still do, need to get a capo and learn to play it...

  • lol he looks awesome with his hair like that.

  • 1992.. back when they were good. they were definately hitmakers, too bad Soul Asylum and The Replacements didn't get more credit for the sound that the 'dolls made millions off of..

  • ...and the guy across the street

    their best album ever!

  • defintly! kids dont folow? a replacements fan i assume! great stuff!

  • Johnny's voice always reminded me of Paul Westerberg and that Replacements/ Husker Du sound(first 3 albums anyway). I met them back in 1991 when my band opened for them at Lee's Palace inToronto. I remember chatting with George,John and Robby and after the show Robby saying "see ya" before hopping into their beat up white van with slices from Pizza Pizza. Glad they did well - there is some justice in the world. There wasn't a more deserving band than the Goo Goo Dolls.

  • despite how I or anyone might feel about their career after Hold me Up or Superstar Carwash or Boy Named Goo ;)

  • yes i can defiently agree with that, and thats awesome i wish i could have seen/met them in that era, but i truly hate what they became :(.

  • People grow up. Deal with it. As forty year old men, they can hardly be singing and making the same music they were at twenty. Longevity is talent, at least the goo goo dolls weren't one of those late eighty bands that had a couple of hits, and were never heard from again.

  • They were better then...well in 95...this album was the precursor...

  • Yes Johnny has always stated that he basically modeled his style after Paul. They were great friends, don't know if they still are though. I love Goo, seen them about errr...nevermind too many times.

  • Aw here comes the sad part lol damn i love this song so good so so so soooooooooooo good live!! man its good fantastic awesome brilliant rock n roll thanks for the memories and emotions
  • Or as he says.. "That's excellent!"

  • before they were even together for 10 years

  • This guitar is yamaha FG series solid top

  • Love it!

  • Grown commercially, yes.

  • lol what a kid,

    gotta love himm

i wish 90's fashion was back so i could dress like him:)

  • He's tattooless! OMFG! I prefer him with tattoos tho, no i don't, yes i do! OMFG! I dunno.........

  • he's so cute, and funny! lol

  • OMG! This is sooo freakin cute!! I love that hat with Mickey Mouse, but love this guy much more under that hat:P:P Johnny Rzeznik has always been so cute, is still so cute and will always be so cute!:) Oh and this song is amazing!!:)

  • It is one of their best songs, I love it a lot beautiful lyrics.

  • heyy i've got the same guitar..............yamaha f-310

  • lol, his voice sounds somewhat robbyish here...

  • wow...he's rly havin' fun up there!!!!!! awesome song!!!!! lol "here comes the sad part" They REALLY have grown!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!

  • omg they've grown up so much since then haven't they? Johnny doesn't play guitars w/ stickers on them anymore... and he also doesn't play Yamaha anymore XD

  • Omg he has Mickey Mouse on his hat!

  • HEY!!!! I JUST NOTICED!!! THAT'S THE EXACT SAME FRICKEN GUITAR I HAVE!!!! YAMAHA F-310 SWEEEET!!! great minds think alike LOL!! and i play their songs on it too...everyday.

ill have to learn this one FOR SURE!!

"YA THATS EXCELLENT!!" :@) oh johnny i love you.. <3
