Beautiful song, great singer. It took ages to find this - I loved it at the end of the Billy Connolly series about Australia. Trust Billy to use something so meaningful .

This is the song I have been looking for, for many years since hearing it at the end of Billy Connolly in Australia.

I have finally just stumbled on it after seeing Ralph at a concert in Eastbourne, and perusing You tube for some of the other songs he sang. Sadly he did not sing this, but I am looking forward to his new album having heard some of the songs.what a meltingly deep and melodic voice...cosy, like a dear friend!

I have lots of catching up to do....this song is just pure magic !!

Buy the DVd of Billy Connolly's world tour of australia as it will be on there, I might buy the DVD as they cut this song off on UKTV when I watched the end but UKTV cut this song off with a voiceover man talking on it! GRR!
