  • liuke you lot got this in the 80S .oh the memories .jaffas on tottenham court road

  • Class!!!

  • Great Album - I purchased this in 1981 from Spinn Inn Manchester for the princely sum of £9 - this was ridiculous at the time as standard UK LP's were about £5.50. The big track for me was Pao de acucar. Tthe most I paid was £9.50 for Nobuo Yagi - Mi Mi Africa. Got Terumasa Hino - City Connection for £6 in a bargain box and Genji Sawai & Bacon Egg - Skipjack was also £9

  • I have this LP brought it in the 80s on import from Bluebird Records on the Edgeware Rd. It cost me £25 a lot of money back in the day, but well worth the cost.

  • Thanks - found on download. If you need/want the link I'll send it to you.....and I too remember the term "Jap Jazz" - and the likes of Robbie Vincent on Radio London, which was where I first heard it!!! Memories ..............

  • This brings back memories. Taped from the radio about 20 years ago and never knew the name of the track - until now! Been a Nyoya fan for years. Tks for sharing!!! Gotta find the album for download now!! Do you have any more info on the album???

  • YES i think the LP came out in 1980 81 called pacific jam its a great album every track is a classic we used to call it jap jazz thats from an old soul boy

  • Thanks for this tune.

Havent heard it for almost 30 years!

I believe the lead is Flora Purim along with her husband, Aito on a early 80s collaboration.
