  • I really don't know how to thank you for these great videos. I just got this camera as an antique gift just to show it in my studio, but I did & fixed everything that was damaged except this problem. Whenever I shoot, and reload the shutter, the mirror should be release and goes down, but it doesn't. So after I take the shoot, I open the film holder and with one finger I touch the corner of the mirror ( lens side & the other side of the button ) the mirror goes down, and so, any help please ?!

  • @hikaruscom Get your camera looked at. It's cheaper than replacement parts or the potential damage caused by inexperience. It's likely just a problem with the mirror damping.

  • is this camera suitable for a beginner or someone who wants a camera if he didn't had one before?

  • @metallicafan114 No, this camera is definitely not suitable for a beginner.

  • @Orcinus24x5 - not sure I agree with metallicafan114. This camera will teach you the principles of photography very well. It is a challenge, but if you are patient and can get this working for you, you are there.

  • Thanks for the tips! i just bought this camera. I have a question about the lens... when I change from 3.8 to 32 it does not seem to be changing the apperture (I dont know how to say that in english). But there is a thing in the lens that I can slide like half around the lens and then the apperture changes... What Im I doing wrong? THANKS! Great Videos!!!!

  • @Lordsebastian The aperture doesn't close down until you press the shutter button. At the same time the mirror flips up and out of the way, the aperture stops down, then the shutter fires, all within a split second.

  • @Orcinus24x5 THANKS!!! Im going to take some pictures today!!! Cold freezing sunny day!!!

  • Thanks for video, much help, considering getting a med format film since prices are real cheap these days.

  • i have a different (old 50s) camera, but i'm starting to use this film. i have a question though: are the numbers on the back of the film fitted for use as 6x6 (12 exposures) or 6x9 (8 exposures)? do the numbers go up to 12?

  • @OmarAbdulJabbar "These go to eleven." XD All kidding aside, I assume your camera has a little red window on back? That's what the numbers printed on the backing paper are for. There are several different sets of numbers, each one corresponding to a different frame size. The window will line up with the correct set of numbers, so just advance to the next one and you should be good to go.

  • Thanks so much, these are great videos, I'm eagerly waiting for my RB67 to arrive in the post :-)

  • Really great videos dude.

  • Great info man! Thanks. I am ready to shoot with my RB now. For the first time since I got it. Just got the Gossen Luna Pro F light meter.
