Don't forget they run with two Captain's....if they focus on one of them....they will win!!!! For example...if Frank work for his brother....Frank will only be 17. or 20. in the Overrall Classification but Andy will be the 1.!!!!!!!! I think, it's harder to get your two capitano's in the race and place them on the 2nd and 3rd place as only one of the Leo's took the 1st. place!!!! If the hole Team focus on 1 Person....it will get a "better" Result.....Andy in yellow 2012....and more.........!!!!!

@simbaworld1978 They had the best and strongest team strategy having 2 powerful riders who are genuine GC contenders of the TDF. They used each other to wear the opposition down because both were a threat and it worked against everyone...except Cadel Evans. One of the first comments Andy said was that he lost the TDF because he was not strong enough. He later says that he was stronger this year than last year. We can take from this that Cadel was exceptionally strong to be able to win.
