Homefront. Freedom Fighters. Two games. One made in 2011, one made in 2003. Both involve a foreign super-power invading American soil, forcing the resistance underground where the player fights back to claim liberty... One is no more complex than a shooting gallery with pop-up baddies. The other features squad control, variable mission objectives which influence subsequent missions based on which you choose, and multiple paths to complete the objectives.
